Fine Point Permanent Markers, Assorted Skin Tones, 12 Count

We home educate so we often use our huge box of Sharpies. You won't get better quality that Sharpie! Our brown Sharpies had all ran out, so I was really pleased that we could buy a pack of just brown Sharpies! Great selection of different shades of browns.

I cannot believe there are skin colour Sharpies, they have been so useful in my illustrations. Really pleased with them. One downside is that a few of the light colours look the same on paper, or very very similar.

I bought these to touch up scuff marks on sandals which worked perfectly. The variance of colours meant I was able to make all my sandals look brand new!

I needed to widen my sharpie collection with the skin colored tones. They are well worth it. There are so many different brown shades to choose from, some light tan colours, perfect for coloring cute characters/animals (coco wyo books specifically) I only wish the Sharpies lasted longer. I'm going to be needing another set soon. Only downfall in my opinion is that I wish you could replace one or two Sharpies in this set, but i have to buy them all over again because 2-3 shades are almost completely dry cause ive used them more consistently. The sharpies bleed through-they are alcohol markers. Use a watercolor paper or cardstock under the page will protect your book. Hope this helped

Sadly for me I am no longer the artist that I once was decades ago but I still keep a good size assortment of Sharpies and in different points. They are priced well and this set especially contains colors not found in other sets. This set was created for doing skin colors or perhaps hair colors too. I liked how it had so many different shades of brown. And it does...I went through all of the pens to make certain they were okay. No problems with that...but the cap colors for some were a bit deceiving. I can't explain which but some that I thought were going to be lighter were actually a different darker shade than the cap represented. But there was still a decent variety of browns and the cost, for my simple needs, was excellent. And it does write on plastics though I can't guarantee for how long it will remain. I make faux plant arrangements, I like to use the Sharpies on the plants to give them a more natural look. Run a orange, red or brown pen along the edge of a fake green Sanseveiria and it gives it a nice look. Contrast. Use it to make blips in a fake plant go away...use the green color or any I mentioned and a yellow to hide imperfections or to create your own. This brown set has all shades you can think of for when you need a brown...it isn't just for skin and hair tones...think of any type of wooden furniture that you want to draw. Dirt. It's a good set for anyone. I'm sure other more expensive sets might be what others are looking for...this set has a nice range or browns for a few dollars. Nuff said. It works for my needs.
