Very impressed by the cleaning I’m achieving with this toothbrush. I was using a basic Oral B electric toothbrush for last 2 years and before that a high end Sonic Care. I’m very impressed with the cleaning power of even a more basic Oral B over Sonic Care. I really think the round heads make major difference. The iO series of toothbrushes are really great & made my dental cleaning so easy. My friend suggested an iO3 that she’s used for over year but I bought the iO5 because such a great sale and interest free monthly payment plan. I didn’t have any bleeding with standard head and right amount of pressure but if you’re not used to an electric brush keep that in mind. I don’t always use the app but it has a lot of information in it and can tell you which tooth you’ve not cleaned enough. I did use it the first week I had it so I could see how to properly brush. Even without the app the lights on the brush show you if you’re pressing too hard or soft, time to brush 2 full minutes. The battery lasts a long time if you don’t want to leave stand plugged in.

So, I'm a long-time user of Sonicare, which means I've gone through a number of them that always tend to break right at warranty expiry. Though I usually find them on sale, they are not cheap, nor are the brushes, and for the price they are still so prone to breaking down and various issues. So, when my current one started to have an issue (turning on randomly on its own, startling all around), I started shopping for a replacement. This Oral B brush went on sale, so I decided to check it out - maybe return if it wasn't all that great in comparison. At first, I was a little confused, because I thought these brushes mainly worked by rotation, but they are both that and sonication. I don't know if the vibration speed matches to Sonicare, but it doesn't seem critical. One immediate thing I noticed was the light ring which instantly lets you know if you are pressing too hard or not enough. As somebody with gum issues, this is appreciated. Next thing, do set up and try out the app. I was skeptical, but it really does a good job of figuring out what part of your mouth you are brushing, apparently by some kind of bluetooth-based sonar and something in the brush that can tell if it's facing up or down. It's not to the level of knowing which tooth, but it maps the front and two sides of both the top and bottom of your mouth, which is still pretty detailed. Rather than just using some kind of timer, it tracks that you spend the proper amount of time in each of the 6 regions. Your coverage within each region is then up to you. Sure, there are some times when it is a bit off, but I find that that tends to happen if I turn my head. So if you keep your head still, it seems to work more accurately. Not too hard to do. Besides the main brush tracking, you can set specific goals, and it will add recommendations for other steps like tongue brushing and flossing. I started a program for plaque removal. So now, instead of brushing or not kind of mindlessly in the shower one a day, I have started brushing twice a day, with more intention, and it's even slightly fun. And so far, my teeth feel smoother and cleaner. I also get less gum bleed, perhaps due to avoiding pressing too hard. I think this is still a bit pricey at full price, but maybe in this case it could be worth it for the improvement in your teeth and gum health. On sale, I can definitely recommend. Will it last long term? We'll see.

an AMAZING product! i would say it is worth the money 1,000%! i was worried my teeth would not feel clean due to other electric toothbrushes leaving them rough, but my teeth feel SO clean! i have noticed whiter teeth with only a week of using. i would definitely recommend!!

I really like the Oral B iO Deep Clean plus Whiten Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush with Visible Pressure Sensor. It delivers a strong clean, feels gentle on the gums, and the pressure sensor is genuinely helpful. The only thing I do not love is the price. The performance is excellent, but it is definitely on the expensive side.

This is a great toothbrush, works very good and is easy to clean. The travel case is nice for keeping the unit clean and dry with space for an extra tip. There are several different settings you can use to get you teeth clean in the way you want. Comes with case, extra tip, and charger. Good product, we have been pleased with its performance and quality so far.

Great toothbrush, definitely feel a difference when using this brush over the other electric toothbrush. It just seems that you teeth are cleaner using the same toothpaste. I believe you will be happier with this purchase, I am.

This toothbrush is amazing! I’m noticing a difference in teeth whiteness already after a week of use. I love that it ensure you are using the right level of intensity. It’s easy to brush too hard with an electric toothbrush. Highly recommend. Use the app, it’s fun and informative!

Omg I love this! The brush handle did come with some dust on it but I cleaned it with a wet towel and looks brand new. I love how gamified my brushing routine has become. I love the light that shows the pressure. If it's a green light it means the pressure is perfect and if it's red, that means you are brushing too hard. There's also an app that can show you exactly how much your teeth have been cleaned. I didn use it a couple times and it was fun because I could mark if I've flossed, used mouthwash, etc. but I prefer not using the app just using the brush because it vibrates after 30 seconds and I know it's time to change the quarter and then I brush exactly for two minutes and after two minutes, the lights are of different colours showing that I have brushed the right amount and I really love that. My mouth feels super clean now!

Took a long time for delivery, however I'm happy I got it at a good price. The toothbrush works great and came with three brushes that last a long time (you can use them for much longer than 3) months before the bristles start flaring out. Battery life seems to be good to. My dental hygienist noticed that my oral health has improved since I switched to an electric toothbrush.
