Johnny Brook Tabletop Digital Percussion Drum Kit 7 Touch Sensitive Drum Pads with Record and Playback Function

Bought for my 8year old son as we live in a small terrace, so no room for a proper kit. He absolutely loves it and has played it for ages every day and sounds quite good, given that he's only been learning for a year at school and, until now, has never practised! The sound quality is fine, it is extremely loud, and he likes all the twiddly bits which you wouldn't get with a real drum kit, like the clicking metronome and the music to drum along to, and the other percussion noises which you can set to each pad. I like the compactness ( it fits on a dining room chair quite securely), I like the sound it makes and I like the fact he will be able to get headphones ( haven't bought any yet, as I need an adaptor to fit the socket) to ensure he doesn't annoy the neighbours. Not cheap but I think very good value for money and seems robust and well made. Only downside is the instructions are badly translated, but not too difficult to work out what is meant.......

Bought for my son who has Autism. He is very sensory driven. Of late he has walked about beating a drum beat on any surface he can find. So for his Lockdown 6th Birthday I got these drums and they worked a dream. No more banging on my lounge mirror or walls and doors. Sometimes he uses the sticks and other times his hands. There are so many sounds to play with and he will grow into everything else it does. I decided on this type because it’s a space saver, can travel with us, he can even wear headphones and beat till the cows come home and I don’t have to hear. Also this is a sturdy looking kit and he can be heavy handed. He loves the sounds and puts his ear close sometimes to listen. We have used it for activities during lockdown. Beating a drum beat while acting out “we’re going on a bear hunt” it has definitely paid its way, and I only got it for his birthday in MayReally pleased

This was a great product initially but unfortunately I think I was out of luck and was sent one with a couple of faults.I was in touch with the company straight away and they was excellent in informing me how to return it for a replacement or a refund.I opted for a refund and as soon as they received the product back they immediately refunded every single penny into my account!As I say I think I was just unfortunate in this instance.

For the price this is - its brilliant. My 8 year old will probably never use all of the technical wizardry but he can change to sounds and more importantly the volume, or even use headphones and drum away to his hearts content. i keep a pillowase over it to keep the dust off when hes not using it, but its easy at hand for him to pay whenever he wishes.

Easy to set up and use, and best of all the volume can be controlled or headphones can be used!!!

I bought this thinking hmmmmmm. I have not regretted this purchase one bit.... compact enough to fit with ease anywhere you fancy.. great sound , loads of features and really good to have a bash on....Small criticisms: Instruction booklet a bit vague... learning one bit at a time Pads could be a tad more responsive...but just whacking them a bit harder.All in all am very happy with this, would recommend.
