How many litres will this laundry basket hold?

Its full size my wife gets 2/3 days laundry in it. Also a bargai.

Inside dimensions are 21.5" long x 13.25" wide x 12" high. I hope this helps?

is the basket an actual rectangle or is it cruved at the "hip" side?

Yes, it's curved at the hip. A very good wash basket, strong and sturdy.

What are the external dimensions? There seems to be 2 lots of dimensions in the information section

The top measures 60x40 cm, but it tapers towards the base being 47x26 at the bottom.
