VIGAWooden Train Set 49 Piece, 2043646

I bought this as a relatively cheaper way to extend our existing track and I'm so glad I did. This set is great value for money. The trains, the little cars and the other accessories are so well crafted I know they'll last for years.

Beautiful train set from Viga. Unfortunately one of the pieces of track was broken so I sent it back. Amazon processed refund the moment it was in the post but when I went back to buy it again the price had increased. Am probably going to get the 100 piece set for my son instead. Would definitely recommend!

top top quality train set.bought this for my 3 year old daughters birthday and she loves it.track goes together really easily so she has fun making her own tracks. trains are bright and colorful as is the accessories.promotes excellent imaginative play

When I bought this I noticed some reviewers complaining about the train not fitting under the bridge etc.This was a gift for my 4 year olds Birthday, & he loves it. The red train DOES get stuck under the little wooden bridge, but you can just give it a wiggle & it will go through.I think the small complaints of the track popping up every now & then is irrelevant to my 4 year old, he plays with wooden train sets at nursery (which is why we got him one) & he seems undeterred by these minor complications & will just instinctively push the track back down & continue on his way.My only gripe is the design of the track outlay, if you start on the elevated bridge & roll down; you're stuck in a perpetual loop & never return to the elevated bridge (with the red edges). Hopefully that makes sense?Regardless; I intend on buying add ons to extend the track; & again this just seems like a problem for me & only a minor set back to my 4 year old, who doesn't seem to care at all because he just picks up the train & moves it if he wants to haha.Where I'm sitting here focusing on the small gripes, my 4 year old is too engrossed in play to even notice or care about these things. He loves his birthday present & keeps asking me to play trains with him :)

I purchased this for an xmas gift for a 2 year old and i have had a good look at it and put it together,the box sealed great after opening so you would never guess it had been opened.This is very good value for the amount of piece's you get,i just wish there were a few more trains{you only get 2},but the good thing is you can add more and it's very easy to put together so even toddlers can do it. I rated it a 5* as for a first track it does the job and is cheaper than the very over priced Thomas one's you can get with less piece's in!. I would highly recommend this train set.

Have bought several of these for presents. Boys melt when they get these. Fits the Mega Blocks Thomas Tank Engine range perfectly as any other wooden track set.I have also bought several sets and split each into 2 portions for filling ShoeBox presents for disadvantaged children - each portion would contain enough pieces to form circle and a sidetrack (i.e. forming number 6)

My son loves wooden trains and so I had this sent up to our holiday home so we wouldn't have to keep taking bits with us. ONce set up this is a lovely track and keeps my son amused for a while. The quality is good and I am happy with the purchase.

great train set, we waited til our daughters 3rd birthday to give it to her - she can assemble it herselfthe red suspension bridge falls down really easily which is quite annoying
