If you’re trying to figure out the difference between the Men’s National Team jacket and the Women’s National Team jacket (since they look identical in the product photos), here’s what I learned after ordering both: The biggest difference is the fabric. I ordered the Women’s jacket in a Small for myself and the Men’s jacket in a Large for my husband. The men’s version has a very shiny navy material (almost like the warm-up suits from the 90s). The women’s version is a true navy with a matte polyester blend, more in line with modern athletic warm-ups. Both are nice quality, but personally I prefer the women’s fabric. What’s interesting is that the logos and graphics are identical. The U.S. Soccer crest on the front and the “United States Soccer” wording on the back are exactly the same on both jackets, so visually you really can’t tell which one is “men’s” versus “women’s.” Sizing: The fit is definitely more in line with men’s sizing. I usually wear a women’s large top, and the women’s Small fit me perfectly with a slightly oversized feel. For reference, I’m 5’2”, 36DD, 150 lbs, athletic build. My husband is 5’10”, 185 lbs, typically a men’s Large, and the Large size fit him exactly as expected. Overall, I highly recommend both jackets, they’re extremely well-made, especially for the $40 price point. That said, I’m returning the men’s version I bought for my husband and getting him the women’s style instead, since he also prefers the non-shiny navy fabric.
