This does what I was hoping for for less than 10 bucks. This was used as a tone cap on a strat with hot Tex-mex pickups and it delivers. I get a warm earthy tone and that's what I wanted. Nothing more to say.

This cap was huge compared to the one I replaced it with, but in a good way! The tone is nice and rich and warm with alot of harmonic overtones!

I took a chance on these, as there is not much information available to research them. They went into a Les Paul with 50's wiring. Compared to the caps they replaced, these added a warm analog character, while still retaining superb clarity. They sound really good clean, but have something I can't quite put my finger on that makes them sound amazing on overdriven tones. I guess I would sum them up by saying they are very transparent and round off the shrill/high frequencies. They let the personality of your pickups really come through. I feel most PIO caps are hyped up and overpriced, but these are a great value and can hold their own with the big names.

Pro tip: Seymour Duncan’s website has a giant library of wiring diagrams for basically any pickup configuration imaginable. Use it. This little blue jacket capacitor sounds really cool. I feel like it has less of a LPF effect than a stock orange drop capacitor, so turning down the tone is actually usable and doesn’t make it sound like total mud.

I have spent big money on pickups, amps, speakers, pedals ... these $10 components proved to be the glue that achieved what I have been pursuing for 40 years!!! They arrived at 11 am yesterday, my single coil slide electric has Lollar Chicago Steel in the bridge, Lollar gold Foil in the neck. My humbucker slide guitar has a pair of Missing Link Peacocks. Both had Orange drops, swapping both out with the same value "Blue Jackets" made ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD!!!! I Can not recommend them enough!

These did the job wonderfully in my 2012 Gibson paul studio 10 out of 10 recommend and would and likely will order again in the future.
