Its on and off
Unlike the other train sets that resemble this one, this one does NOT have a push button on/off switch. It is a forward/backward/middle. It can be very difficult for the kids to move the little slide forward and back. And to stop it , they have to get the switch directly in the middle…. Its frustrating for them….

Sehr beliebt im Kinderzimmer!
Der batteriebetrieben kleine ICE war ein Geschenk für unseren Sohn zum 6. Geburtstag passend zu seiner Holzeisenbahn und ist seitdem aus dem Kinderzimmer nicht mehr wegzudenken! Immer wieder entstehen neue Eisenbahnnetze und Landschaften, durch die der ICE sausen kann. Zwischendurch war auch schon einmal die Batterie leer, sie ließ sich problemlos ersetzen, wir haben einen Akku genommen, und der ICE fährt seitdem super weiter.

The idea is good and it is cute. Battery dies v fast (Duracell), not sturdy, falls apart and has barely any power
