If you ask a Mazda dealer if the Battery in the Mazda 6 key fob fits the Mazda 2. This battery I purchased a while back from Amazon and it's working great in my Mazda 6. Tip: Once you remove a key battery, have the replacement in quickly and do not press any buttons. You could remove the residual charge meaning he fob will need re-programmed. It's not cheap
