Got to Love It!
After watching these movies over several of times, I am happy to say they are on the list of my favourite movies (especially number 2). The chemistry between Martin Lawrence and Will Smith makes up for a poor plot. These two will have you laughing like you have never before! Then leaving you with some memorable lines to play around with afterwards! Since it is a Michael Bay film you do get overdramatic explosions happening almost every scene but this makes it all the more enjoyable to watch. Would defiantly reconmend it!

If only all blu rays were as good. The sound quality is also fantastic
I can confirm that I got the correct disc with mastered in 4K written on the right hand side. The picture quality is just stunning. If only all blu rays were as good. The sound quality is also fantastic. Very pleased with this purchase.

Not the 4k Version of Bad Boys 1
Not the 4k Remaster - Despite what it says on the back of the box, the first movie in this set is just the old disc, and not the 4k remaster that it's supposed to be. Picture Quality is noticably inferior to the second movie on the other disc, which IS the 4k version. Other ways in which you can distinguish the real 4k disc from the old disc - the new disc shouldn't have a BD-Live option on the main menu - this does. Also there are supposed to be new theatrical trailers for Bad Boys - there aren't, it's just the old 'other Sony Movies' trailers on the set, which are all older movies that were out around the time that the movie was first released onto blu ray a few years ago. The Copyright date on the disc is 2010, instead of 2016 like the Bad Boys 2 disc is.My Brother's also picked up a copy from Sainsbury's and it's exactly the same there, the old disc and not the new 4k one, hence this looks like a problem that will affect all UK sets, whether they come from Amazon or not.Edit: 12th February 2016 - I have now received the corrected disc (Sony gave me a whole new set!). PQ and AQ are flawless on the new disc and the upgrade in PQ over the previous release is very nice indeed. The new disc is easy to spot, it says 'Mastered in 4K' on the right side of the disc. Only thing that lets the set down now really is the extras. I would have preferred a stronger raft myself. Still, a great set though, and both movies now look, and sound, fantastic.

Get picture, Great Sound, Great Movie
Excellent film, great on Blu-Ray with home cinema as you get much better depth of sound and thicker tones than with streaming through netflix and so on. Well worth the investment for a classic set of films.

the picture quality is stunning one of the best I have ever seen
Just to add to the other reviews (not a review of the film, as this has been done before), the picture quality is stunning one of the best I have ever seen, it is from a 4K master, and it is a 2 disk set, not 1 disk as described.

4K UHD Steelbook Review
The Steelbook is excellent quality and well built. The discs are arranged from right to left in a Japanese fashion instead of the usual Western left to right standard usually seen in multi-disc packages. The Steelbook is non-holographic with a matte finish, dressed in a character montage on the front that's reminiscent of The Expendables movie posters and a movie still of Mike & Marcus supinated on asphalt with Mike pointing his pistol at an off-frame target. The matte finish is a preferred touch for me because it guarantees the pristine quality of the Steelbook to never be married by fingerprint smudges and skin oils. While holographic steelbooks are undeniably attractive, they're hellish nightmares for collectors that prefer an unmarred, clean aesthetic. The quality and audio is excellent. HDR10 / SMPTE 2094 gives the remastered film vibrancy and depth with its 10bit compression that's clearly missing from the traditional 8bit AVC/VC1 compress utilized in non-UHD BDRs. A ~64MBps bitrate on the film's .hevc track preserves every little grain spec and noise pixel. The video looks absolutely flawless, as if it were being transferred directly to your screen from the raw camera negatives. The upgrade from DTS-HD MA/DTS-X to TrueHD w/ Atmos is night and day; 11 dynamic objects and a single LFE bed within the audio track's 7.1/16-CH matrix makes for an almost surreal viewing experience on any capable home theater sound setup thanks to a 5MBps+ VBR bitrate with a 3MBps+ CBR bitrate. An inherent sound normalization also means that you'll have a nice, loud, crisp audio track where the dialogue is just as discernible as the music that accompanies it--no longer do we need to suffer through the low-speech-and-ungodly-loud-soundtrack-music that plagues most audio tracks on pre-bluray era movies. The UHD movies have an avg bitrate of 90+MBps (video+audio combined) which make for 80-90GB uncompressed movie files if you decide to rip them to your SSD or NAS with a backup tool like MakeMKV, so make sure you have 200gb free if you go that route. And if you like to rip the special features streams to your movie backup directories, the special features are all on the normal BDR copies--not the UHD ROMs. There's also some audio commentary on the BDR versions of the film's not present in the audio track lists of the UHD versions (no idea why this is). I personally used gmkvextractgui to extract the audio track from my BDR matroskas and then added them to the audio tracks of my UHD matroskas thanks to the miracle program that is MKVToolNix v42.0.0.The movies are both excellent mindless popcorn fun, but the first is Superior IMO because of its pacing and production. The second film is just as watchable as the first, don't get me wrong. But it's 2.5 hour runtime unfortunately makes you feel it's full 2.5 hours because it drags at some points due to obvious over-production and pandering--lots of filler and fluff that was left in the film because, well, Michael Bay. I read in another review that BB2's subtitle was "Bay Harder" and they are 100% correct. It's like one long explosion filled , testosterone packed prepubescent wet dream in comic book format. Plus Lawrence's lack of genuine chemistry is far more evident in the second film than I'm the first. He just has this tiresome, if not drastically annoying, air about his personal that makes him almost completely unforgettable--especially with the thunderous swagger of Smith who clearly steals every single scene he is in.5/5, if you have the John Wick UHDs, you need to get the Bad Boys UHDs ASAP!

Actionklassiker in guter Qualität
