E4: Super simple, super strong wifi - but bottlenecked for 100Mbps internet speeds
Bought for the my retired non-tech savvy parents who live in a 3 story town house. Their version 1 VM SuperHub could only project wifi to the middle floor, being located on the top floor. These were up and running via the app in 5 minutes, including a firmware update which took 2 minutes. Super simple, very quick setup. - Asus/D-Link take note! Wifi signal is now available in every room in the house even projecting into the garden and available at the end of the drive! One point to note though the built in ethernet ports are only100mbps, which is a cost saving measure and potentially a crippling one in future. Their current VM Cable speed is 92Mbps, and if these last 3 years plus i expect their internet speeds to increase to 150Mbps+ as VM increase it FOC. The cost saving measure mean that despite the router being AC spec internet throughput is fundamentally limited to 100Mbps. Will they notice? No, they don't game, don't watch content at 4K, don't have high internet usage. The remote management features are a lifeline too, allowing me to checkup and troubleshoot remotely from a smartphone. The mobile app for management it very slick and polished. Do i miss the traditional web interface? Not at all. I'm totally sold and am waiting for the up coming Deco X10s to replace my Asus Blue cave router.

Very good for a small 2 or 3 bedroom apartment/ house
We live in a 2 bedroom apartment and these worked perfectly to extend the wifi range. We no longer have interference from the microwave or Bluetooth headsets like we used to have. They are amazing and super easy to install. The only downside for me was I did not consider the short cables (power and LAN) which made it a bit tricky with the apartment tiny NBN box where the network and router are located. Had to be very creative about the placement in that room (had to even use the box as a prompt). Probably the best purchase of 2024 for me.

Deco products have transformed my WiFi
I am a Plusnet customer and I have always been pleased with their quality of service. However, my WiFi service was not so great. Speeds were fine if you were close to the router, but the range wasn't wonderful. Also, it would drop out completely every couple of days and I would need to reboot the router. All of these issues have been solved by my Deco mesh network. The network is very easy to set up. The app guides you through every step of the process. The first unit plugs into your router and then each additional unit connects to the nearest unit with a strong signal. Setting up the additional units only takes a couple of minutes each. I live in an old house split over four floors, but I now get a strong signal on any of the floors. I initially bought a 3-pack and later added a fourth unit. Benefits: (1) Strong and reliable WiFi throughout my home. (2) Never loses the connection. (3) Seamless performance when moving from one part of the house to another. (4) Incredibly easy to set up. (5) Guest network feature means you can safely give out a WiFi password without potentially endangering your home network security. Problems: None.

The Kettle!
Why did you choose this product over others?: These are excellent producs with one installed at home and another at a remote location. They work extremely well - though occasionally some streaming services seem to pause for a time - Apple and the BBC are some of the worst offenders. Hard to tell if this is the Deco device or the streaming service. The other annoying aspect is that at precisely Midnight every night, they stop working. I found that this is because Vodafone here in the UK turn off certain frequencies at midnight every night so diabling the device which does not autoswitch to an alternative bank of channels from the cell site. Solution? I have configured the device to auto-restart at Midnight+1 minute every night. It means I get a 2-3 minute break in service, but it resolves the problems caused by Vodafone UK.
