Twin Peaks: Collection [Blu-ray] [2016] [Region Free]

Let's be honest with each other, this show is far to weird and niche for someone to randomly stumble into this amazon listing, leaving two possibilities: You already love Twin Peaks, Or you're interested about getting into it. Fortunately, the answer both of those groups are waiting to hear is just 'buy it already'. Just hit the button, there really isn't anything else that's like it and it's a fantastic watch. Only disappointment is that the follow-up series isn't included, but you can't have your cake and eat it, eh?

There's not much left to say about the David Lynch Tv series, that hasn't already been said. Twin Peaks was a global hallucinogenic experience when it was first broadcast. It enlightened a lot of people with regards to David Lynch's style and work. It also confused a massive portion of the population ! This Blu-ray collection should be able to explain everything (with tiny Wikipedia checks) Masterclass in film/sound and music.

Contains all the stuff from the pilot up to the extras after the movie. The order to view is S1 S2 FWWM The missing pieces The return (not in this set) comes after This release is great, no issues. All cds were snapped into the holders properly, the case comes with a card sleeve. Everything seems to work fine.

Was introduced to the show recently so was unaware of the deep and quirky world I was getting into but now that I've seen it all I knew I'd need to revisit twin peaks again and the best way of doing so is working my way through this beauty, 1st season is awesome 2nd season drops a little in quality but none the less worth a go at least once and finally the movie gives a bit more life to the girl whos character you just dont really connect with initially

Fantastic Set! The only way to watch the first two Series & Prequel Film. The TV Episodes are far more film- like on these Blu Rays. Also, I didn't strike any audio / visual sync problems with this particular edition. The price I thought was very reasonable plus you also get The Missing Pieces. Order with confidence!

If I were to review the show, I'd probably give it 5 stars, considering it's one of my favourites. And Fire Walk With Me is a fantastic movie on its own even without the connections to the show. But unfortunately, my excitement for this package weakened when I saw what it really looked like. Although I received the entire series with Fire Walk With Me, it did not come in the special packaging with all the flip up artcards and hidden Fire Walk With Me artcards. Which is a shame, but to be honest, as cool as that set looks, I'm not completely bothered to send it back, and buy another one for at least another 20 Euro. I've got Twin Peaks on Blu Ray for a damn fine price of about 26 Euro, so I'm happy :) So, be careful when ordering that you know exactly what you're getting

This is the 2016 edition with the plastic box but, don’t be fooled because it comes with all 10 discs and in a great price! It also is a pretty compact box-set so, I am very happy with the product!

Twin Peaks - part of my life for almost 30yrs. As fabulous as it was then. This is a great box set with some brilliant extras including ‘the missing pieces’. If you haven’t seen TP before don’t watch it half-heartedly...concentrate on the story, David Lynch detail and you’ll understand.

Twin Peaks no es mi serie favorita ni David Lynch es mi director favorito. Me gustan más "Los Soprano" , "The Wire", "Six feet under" o "Breaking Bad" por ejemplo, pero reconozco que esta serie es muy buena y única. Y esta caja con 10 blurays, con las 2 primeras temporadas (30 episodios) y extras como la peli "Fire walk with me" viene con un sonido y una imagen maravillosa. Con múltiples audios y subtítulos ( está el inglés y el español entre muchos otros) y con un precio rondando los 20€ pues obviamente todo amante del cine debe comprárselo. Pero es que aunque no te guste la serie, estamos hablando de 10 blurays por 20€. A unas malas los pones en el balcón para espantar a las palomas... Reconozco que ví la serie entera hace unos 20 años y me dejó un poco confuso ( a quien no?). Pero ahora, como sé que lo importante no es descubrir quien mató a Laura Palmer sino ver cómo disfruta Dale Cooper con su café y su tarta de cereza pues la estoy disfrutando enormemente. Cómo lograron mezclar momentos de terror (porque a veces me da miedo) con momentos de drama y de comedia es algo que pocas series han logrado hasta ahora. Además la música de Badalamenti es preciosa, hipnótica, onírica, sugerente, maternal, mesmerizante, perturbadora...... en definitiva, lynchiana. Además me estoy leyendo también el libro "Regreso a twin peaks" de la editorial Errata Naturae y el placer es doble pues me hace ver cosas que obviamente no sabía. Hay una entrevista a David Chase (creador de los soprano) y reconoce que algunas cosas influyó en Los Soprano. La entrevista a Lynch es muy interesante.. En definitiva, la recomiendo ya no sólo si eres fan de la serie, sino si te gusta el cine (surrealista) en general En fin, espero que mi valoración haya sido útil

A história da série é muito boa! Já assisti inúmeras vezes. O envio foi muito rápido e chegou certinho.

A must for any fan. Have not watched it all due to busy life... but the best TV show ever (or was that season 3).

Esta opinión es sobre el producto rotulado como: "Twin Peaks - 2016 Downspec (10 Blu-Ray) [Edizione: Regno Unito] [Reino Unido] [Blu-ray]". Lo digo porque hay varios formatos con las opiniones comunes, y de este modo queda claro cuál es el que yo adquirí y sobre el que voy a opinar. En primer lugar, hay que decir que, aunque no lo pone por ninguna parte en el anuncio de Amazon, esta edición también viene en castellano, tanto doblada como con subtítulos, y me refiero a todos los materiales que contiene. Por supuesto, también viene en inglés y en unos cuantos idiomas más. Y, sin embargo, es sensiblemente más barata que la edición española, que, cuando yo la compré, costaba casi el doble que esta. Además de la serie completa (primera y segunda temporadas), repartida entre los discos 1 al 8, también vienen las dos películas, "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" (1992) y Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces" (2014), ambas firmadas por David Lynch, en los discos 9 y 10, respectivamente. La edición se complementa con otros contenidos adicionales. La calidad de la imagen y la del sonido son las que uno se espera de un blu-ray, es decir, magníficas. Parece ser que se han tomado el trabajo de digitalizar los originales para dar una edición de alta calidad como esta, y eso siempre se agradece. La presentación es más que aceptable. Se trata de una caja de cartón dentro de la cual se aloja otra caja de plástico, de las tipicas de blu-ray, aunque más gruesa, que reproduce la misma carátula que la caja de cartón, y en la que vienen distribuidos los diez discos que componen la colección. Esta estupenda presentación hacen que la serie pueda adquirirse para hacer un regalo sin mayor problema. En resumidas cuentas, por el precio que yo pagué (29,25 euros), no dudo en recomendarla, casi como imprescindible, para seguidores de la serie y para aficionados a la obra de Lynch. Por lo menos a mí me ha parecido que se merecía un lugar en mi videoteca, y de honor, además.
