This stuff is awesome. Non-GMO no fillers nor additives. Essentially no un-needed crap. As advertised and mirrored in the other reviews the taste is BAAAAAD! Real bad! If you're not using at minimum a blender shaker bottle or an actual blender then you are doing yourself a great disservice. It will not mix. Go ahead and stir it until you dislocate your shoulder. It will still sit atop the water in your glass in clumps mocking your efforts. It has the feel and consistency of cocaine. No density whatsoever. I have found that mixing it in a blender bottle with V8 helps significantly. Masks the taste but the after taste slowly turns bad. Just have something else handy to chase it down with. That said I've been using this for several days and workouts and it is far and away the best BCAA supplement I've ever used. Great results coupled with it's purity make it my BCAA of choice going forward.

I dont know why other people are saying about "fart in the bag" regarding this product. This is as good as it gets as far as BCAAs. First of all, I am not willing to eat detivatives of duck feathers and this product being out of plant sources solves that problem. Secondly, there is really NO smell to it, it kind of smells like raw mushrooms. Thirdly, I am not interested in extra crap like sugar additives, synteric flavorings or colors, and this unflavored version is just that - no any other things. It actually diassolves pretty good in water, yes, by itself it tastes slightly bitter, best way is to mix it is with water and scoop of one of those "superfoods" green powders, we love Amazing grass brand (super clean product with no heavy metals, etc) in berry flavor. Also, bottle with wheel (instead of ball) works th best. I shake it for about 10 sec, let it stand for few and then shake it again (consider this part of your arm workout warm up, lol). Definetly noticed less soreness and more lean muscle. Great product, Love it.

My husband and I have been using this product for probably two years but we alternate with the non flavored version. The Pros with the flavored version are that the taste is pretty good, no artificial sweeteners, it's sweetened with stevia and monk fruit, it dissolves easily and it has a decent amino acid profile. We do find that it's pretty effective for use as pre energy mix, its made in the USA but with ingredients source globally, and it comes with 60 serving where many others only come with 30 servings , so for the price its a better value than many others out there. The Cons, its is expensive if you use everyday and the flavoring is artificial. So for the cost we don't use daily, we use only on workout days. We use as a pre/during workout drink. We add it along with beet root powder, matcha green tea and filtered water or coconut water for extra hydration. But because of the artificial flavoring and we've switch back to the non flavored version, its a little cheaper and other than the aminos, it has zero extra ingredients, its a very clean product but the taste is not great and we do sweeten with a couple squirts from STUR that has no artificial sweeteners, flavoring or coloring.

This literally tastes like vomit. Like that acid & bitter taste from the moment you put this in your mouth. There's just no way I could drink this even mixed with something else. Don't waste your money.

While the flavor is okay, and it does the job, it has a big solubility problem. Whether stirred with a spoon, or shook in a shaker bottle, this takes a LOT of time to dissolve properly.

1.) Unflavored is for an additive to a recipe, like smoothies. Of course it’s going to be gross in water. There’s. No. Flavor. 2.) Flavored is for water or juice. No it doesn’t mix great, but it does taste great. Blend or shake it and then slam it. It’s a great product.

I feel compelled to review this product due to some of the other reviewers not being able to read the product description. NutraBio clearly states that this product tastes bad by itself. It does. It tastes horrible. It's like eating a ZipLoc bag that someone farted in. And there's nothing you can really do about it, as its taste overpowers everything I've thrown at it. Almond milk, PBFit, protein powder, etc, doesn't help. But that's exactly why this product is so wonderful. It's not loaded with a ton of fillers, mixers and, the worst, Sucralose. It's straight up BCAAs - which are known to taste bad. If you care about your health, take this. No question. Just expect to have a taste that resembles chewing a handful of Ibuprofen. If you don't care about your health, and you want to consume ingredients that you cannot pronounce, buy something that tastes good that's loaded with scientifically modified ingredients. It's pretty simple. If you're serious about your health, for the price, this cannot be beat!

First I just want to say I am glad that there is a company out there that makes this kind of product. I purchased this product awhile back because all of the other products with there fake sugars and fillers ending up wreaking havoc on my throat. And so here comes Nutrabio with "ABSOLUTELY NO" other ingredients to come save the day. Now I can recover without having to recover from throat problems. Now, even though it smells like rat poison and has a bitter taste (which I expected taste would not be all that great, but after awhile you get use to it) it is still the best bcaa out there. And I am not sure why people complain about taste your getting something in it's purest form. And I am not saying all things taste nasty in there purest form like there glutamine which I also purchased taste hardly like anything, but some chemicals just taste nasty at there base level. Its a good thing it's tucked away in foods.
