This product is an absolute lifesaver!I recently bought one as a Christmas present for someone who is constantly losing his keys and wallet. After months, and maybe even years, of running through the house like a headless chicken, pulling the place apart looking for his keys. All he has to do now is press a little button on the receiver, and his time is no longer wasted by looking for his possessions!When I recently received an unsolicited request by the seller to receive another one of their Click ‘n Dig Key Finders in return for an unbiased review, I didn’t hesitate! The response I got back from the Christmas present I had given was so good, that I felt like I needed one for myself.It doesn’t happen a lot, but when I do lose my handbag, it is usually well and truly lost within the house. It’s happened on occasions where it’s ended up in the fridge or freezer, when packing away the shopping, and other odd places like that.The range on the transmitter is perfect, even if the receiver is upstairs, (or hidden behind the closed door of the fridge!) and the button on the transmitter is pressed downstairs, it can still be heard.The receivers doesn’t only transmit sound, they also transmit a little red light. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas as she was always mislaying her car keys (busy mum!) after some careful trawling of the internet. There are lot of these devices on offer ranging from very cheap to expensive (Smart App based) but all seem to have some sort of disadvantage to each one according to the reviews. The set arrived promptly from Amazon even though only ordered in the week before Christmas.I have now been approached by the seller to carry out an impartial review with an new set provided for free. This set arrived smartly packaged (well protected from the postal service). It includes two "Bell" locators and a transmitter. These come ready with batteries installed (just remove the the plastic strip tag to power up each device). A nice touch is that spare batteries for each unit were also included.I live in a 500 year old farmhouse made of solid thick brick & flint walls (12-18" thick) and therefore tested the range of the "click 'n Dig!" through these. using a 20 metre diagonal across the house which put two outside walls and three internal walls between us I was surprised to find that the key finder tag worked. It is important to say that this only worked with the transmitter button depressed for a good three seconds (the instruction manual alludes to this fact).The receiver emits a brief steady stream of bleeps whilst the transmitter button is depressed. These were loud enough for me in my house to locate the receiver, but if there was another louder noise in the vicinity it may be harder to trace quickly. There is a flashing LED at the same time on the receiver which would aid recovery if visible.So the range is very good working through solid walls.Next I tried the range from the ground floor up to the Attic (three storeys) through wooden floors. Whilst it worked it was harder to hear the bleep from the floors below. The pitch of the bleep is good as it not offensive, but it could probably do with a bit more volume for noisy environments.I also placed the receiver in my closed briefcase and could just hear the bleep when within 10 metres range.The transmitter is easy to use and confirms that power is available with a LED lighting up each time one of the buttons are pushed. This is a good unit of its type at a reasonable price (£19.95). You will need to think where you keep the transmitter though as without it the system is defunct! We keep ours in a Key safe box so it always available at home (does not help if you are out!).Like any of these products if you are prone to being absent minded with putting things down this will be of help so long as you can get into the habit of putting the transmitter back in the same place every time so that it can be found when required. I have given this item four stars as I feel that the bleep should be a bit louder.

(Free Extra Batteries) New Model: D2 I recently received my click n dig set and have been really impressed with both it's performance and also it's practicality!I had looked at many different 'key locators' and found many different items, many of which had design flaws such as tv remote size transmitters (or so they looked) and in many cases, quite large tags which often looked either childish or too blocky...The Click 'N Dig! Key finder ticks those boxes for me by being a reasonable size (the transmitter which you use to activate the audio/light, is a little larger than a car remote locking fob) and the receivers which you attach to your keys and/or other items you wish to 'tag' are a good size at around 45mm by 30mm (guesstimate) and are shaped like bells but without looking silly - they are also fairly thin!So, when you go to grab your keys and they aren't there, instead of stressing and searching blindly, all you need do is stand in the doorway of each room and press the key on the remote to activate a loud bleeping sound which comes from the tag you placed on your keys - also, there is a fairly bright light which flashes on and off also - I have fairly large rooms (5m x 4m) and it had no problems activating the fob from anywhere in the room - I have concrete walls and in a different building, it might even penetrate the walls but standing in the doorway to each room also helps in hearing where the sound/light is coming from so it's no hardship!I also found a spare set of batteries supplied as an added bonus and really am pleased with this item.I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who ever misplaces everyday items such as keys, dog leashes or anything you can clip one of these tags onto!!

Unfortunately, one of the hazards of living up north is snow. Lots and lots of snow. So one day, I was walking around and my wallet must've fallen out of my winter jacket. By the time I got home and realized it was gone, the snow had already covered up where my wallet would've been, even though I knew exactly where to look for it. I did end up finding it exactly where I dropped it... only 4 months later after the snow melted.I never wanted to experience that sinking feeling of losing all your credit cards, ID and the risk of identity fraud again. So I searched online for a solution. I know there are fancy products similar to this where you have bluetooth connectivity and all that jazz, but if you actually read the reviews, you'll notice that most simply either A) Unreliable/doesn't work B) have horrible battery life C) both of the above. When you're looking for something like this, it HAS to be reliable 100%. You have to trust the system or you'd be second guessing yourself and wondering whether the bluetooth is still connecting or whether the battery has died when you don't hear the buzzer when looking for something.Every time I've clicked the button on the ClickNDig, it has rung. I have tested this to about 10m in range. No waiting for BT connectivity whatsoever. They also include a second set of batteries to keep you going which is a great thought.My other concern was size. No one wants a chunky wallet. So what I opted to do was unscrew the two screws, and chuck the plastic housing. Then I desoldered the buzzer and soldered on another buzzer on the battery side of the PCB of the CnD. I then used hotglue to protect the delicate electronics while keeping the battery slot opened. This reduced the thickness of the device to around 4mm which is pocketable for me. I attached the second CnD to my keys and left the plastic housing on.The only downsides to the CnD is the odd sized battery used for the controller. But the battery changes are infrequent enough and the value of having that reassurance that you won't loose your stuff is good enough that I'm willing to over look that.Overall a great product.Disclaimer: I bought this product first with my own money and then CnD just happened to ask for a review in exchange for a second set a few months after I bought it. The person who contacted was also very quick with her emails which gave me a good impression when it came to customer service.

Los materiales parecen de mala calidad, el sonido que emite es muy debil por lo que es dificil escucharlo, ademas el alcance es muy limitado, practicamente deberás recorrer el lugar donde buscas las llaves presionando el boton, primero para que este en el rango de alcance y segundo para que puedas escucharlo, trae un repuesto de baterias lo cual es bueno

I have to admit I was initially very disappointed when the beeper units would just beep randomly for no reason... the Finder unit was not pressed and on some occasions, no where near. I even changed the batteries to completely new purchased ones after trying the extra set provided with the product. Then one of the beeper units stopped working altogether... I advised the Click 'N Dig people via Amazon and to my pleasant surprise they promptly shipped a new set of the entire product to me. I have tested this new set of units and all seems to be working great. I was most impressed with their support in providing this replacement so quickly and with no questions or hassles.
