I don't know if mine were defective but I tried and had several people try and they didn't work.

Got these, had them programmed but doesn't work well..opens trunk each time I use it..not sure why its dies that..

they hooked up to my car, but when you try to lock the car? car alarm goes off. try to unlock the car? car alarm goes off. and guess what the trunk and panic buttons do... you guessed it, car alarm. i dont need a key fob with essentially 4 panic buttons

setup is a little tricky if doing more than 1. and the panic button is not recessed so it is easy to trigger by mistake. overall for the money its a good value

I followed the instructions step by step and was able to program 1 of 2 key fobs. I think looked at the vidoe and followed the steps to program the key fobs. My door lock cycled like in the video indicating that the key fobs were programmed. Only 1 of 2 key fob would "work" when it did work. The "working" key fob only worked intermittingly. Thinking that it may be the battery, I changed out the battery in both key fobs. I went through the programming process several more times. After over an hour, I gave up. If the seller can reach out and assist, I would appreciate it. Otherwise, I will be returning the key fobs.
