K'NEX is such a great toy! I have found memories of playing with K'nex when I was growing up and it is now time to let my kid have the same fun I once had. It is an amazing framework that allows kids to have fun, be creative, problem solve and learn, all at the same time. This set is specifically tailored to teaching kids about gears. There are more sets to teach them other similar subjects (which I also purchased and can recommend). I sincerely hope BasicFun! can capitalize on nostalgic fathers like me, by investing more into the K'nex franchise, and bring back classics such as the K'NEX Big Ball Factory building set, and other (classic K'NEX type) roller coaster sets.

Good design and kept my son busy for an afternoon. Learning about gears and engineering without opening a book. Some pieces need a bit more encouragement to snap together, however its new and i expect this. Comes with the first challenge included and a code is provided with the 2 other challenges available. Altogether a good project.

Great set for building and showing my young ones how cogs and wheels turn. Of course, I have to supervise closely as my boys are very young and some of these parts are very small, but will get more sets for XMas!

I got this for my 8 Yr old for Christmas it only comes with instruction I. How to build on thing but u can go on the net and find loads of things to build with each set.

This was bought as a gift and the box was dented and damaged. Such a shame.

El juguete resultó ser mas entretenido de lo que pensé. El manual contiene una guía para instructores que ayuda a los niños a entender los conceptos de mecánica que estan en juego. Por otro lado , algunas piezas requieren cierta destreza y fuerza que para niños pequeños quizá no sea común que tengan.

Wow, this came with 3 different 'gear' projects with written worksheets for the student. It was pretty straight forward and money well spent.

Bought for gift for 8 year old grandson. He really likes toys that you put together and I really like the hands on experience it gives him instead of children just playing video games. It arrived on time in great condition. Very good quality and it is interchangeable with other sets he already has so he can build more things and larger things by combining sets. It really helps develop imagination and motor skills and it’s fun! Buy this, you will not be disappointed!

J'ai moi-même construit beaucoup de choses en K'nex étant enfant/ado et cette boite améliore le concept. En plus de pouvoir construire ce qu'on veut, avec pour seule limite l'imagination, on trouve ici trois modèles servants, à l'aide d'un e-book téléchargeable, à faire des expériences et apprendre le fonctionnement du modèle construit. Seul petit défaut : le packaging. Une simple boite en carton, bien trop grande pour le contenu et qui est arrivée très abimée. Ma nièce de 7 ans qui adore construire des choses et qui en plus est très curieuse était ravie.
