A Class Act!
I usually buy the cheapest BBQs available, as I hate maintaining and cleaning them, and prefer to replace them every few years instead. This time I broke with my usual method and spend a little more on this little beauty. I'm very pleased I did. This is a lovely BBQ. Visually it's a premium piece of kit, with its stainless frontage. The folding sides are strong and reduce the footprint for storage. Assembly took a while, but the instructions were clear. The temperature gauges are a bonus and work well - unlike some which read just min/max. The tool-rack provided on the inside of the door work well. It heats up quickly, and cooks very well indeed, with great flexibility on heat levels. I confess that I clean it too - as the process is quite quick and easy - just lift out the panels and use a wire brush. One negative as per other reviews - it does leak grease down the one edge, however this is easily wiped off. This BBQ has served many times over the past few weeks and I love it.

Top 3 of Americans BBQ
Amazing product, took me few weeks to decide, the market is full of copies, i check many feedbacks and reviews, finally weber and charbroil are on the top 5 in the world, the prices are slightly similar and quality also, after to think my requests for bbq, space to stored in winter, how many friends and family I have and how many times I will use the bbq, i got these one, one of the reasons is because I think this bbq have a good thing for cooking that weber don’t have, the infrared grill, the meat is quiet juicy, and no make flames when is dropping, and also you can use wood chips to cook smoky food.the ensamble is very easy and the bbq is quiet robust, good quality and very professional, no probles, very graceful, time to cook!!I have followed the instructions, and I start cooking chicken, and sausages, cook amazing, with more control that charcoal bbq, the taste is awesome, all my friends are happy with this adquisition, easy to clean, I think the future and longevity of the bbq is to mantein clean.happy bbq!!!

the bbq is amazing it comes in a million boxes and took me about 3 hours to put together and i consider myself above the office types with their soft hands when comes to DIY, my only negative is one of the grill plates was cracked when it arrived but by this time i had already put it together so i was not going to take it to bits and send it back, i did contact amazon who were very good with the issue and offered a full return and refund (not happening) or another option was to get a 20% refund, keep it and replace the item myself however these plates are not available in the uk so it will cost me about £80 to get one shipped from americaas for the actual bbq quality its well built and cooks the food evenly i must admit it does make the meat juicy and tastes like a bbq not a gas oven i dont know how it does it as i am a rubbish cook but with this thing im the new gordon ramsey

Infra red cooking isn't hype
Given barbeques are a million miles from high tech was a bit sceptical about the claims made by Char-Broil and bought more on the grounds it looked decent quality and was actually available at a time when there wasn't much in stock. As per other reviews it does take an age to put together but all went together easily enough and quality, whilst not up there with Weber albeit at a much higher price, was better than most I've seen. It came with a propane regulator and I have butane tanks but luckily I chopped the one off my old barbeque before it went to the tip. Now, onto cooking and what's good about infra red. This barbeque really does keep food much juicier than other types regardless of whether you like your food rare or well done and the whole cooking surface is usable, no cold spots. It can also get very hot so you don't need any searing station like some others to produce amazing steaks. Ironically, the food actually tastes more like it was off a charcoal barbeque than an actual charcoal barbeque, presumably helped by the way the IR grids vaporise grease into flavoursome smoke and doesn't create any flame. When you're done, cleaning is simple too, just turn it to high for ten minutes and anything attached to the grates turns to ash which can be brushed off before cooking next time.

Impressive bit of kit.
Have now had this since early May and left any reviews until it had been in use for a decent amount of time. I spent an awful amount of time trying to get the best gas BBQ that I could afford. What sold it for me in the end was after watching endless video reviews on a lot of different BBQ’s was the anti-flare up method of cooking which is exactly what I have experienced. No matter what I have cooked nothing has ever been over cooked, burnt or dry. It was very easy to put together and I only needed help from my wife to lift the main hood and burners on and took me less than two hours from start to finish. As a treat for my daughter and her partner I treated them to a piece of Sirloin steak each on the first cook and they both said that it was the best they had ever had off a BBQ. Admittedly you don’t get the charcoal flavour but it has made us think more about flavouring anything we cook prior to slapping it on the grill. We also use smoking wood chips which will also improve the flavour. It is very easy to keep clean and if you keep seasoning all of the grill plates etc nothing sticks. I have been impressed with how little gas we have used so far as we were using it 2 or 3 times a week when the weather was really hot here in the UK 🇬🇧 and still have about half a bottle left. It has now been put away for the winter but I just might get it out to cook Christmas 🥘 on i.
