Just Great!
This book is wonderful. More of the same fun as there was with "Where's Waldo", but even harder. Plus the authors have placed other Asterix characters in the images, so most images have more to find than just Asterix himself.

My nephew loved it
This was a gift for my nephew. He loved it! My only complaint would be that there are too few pages for the price.... The cover seems to be thicker than all the inner pages combined.

loads of fun
The latest asterix offering really has no story except for the wonderfull two page drawings. Each is a sotry of its own, and you can make up different ones each time you look at them. The hook is how you search for the different caractors on the page and discover the very different sub storys going on undder neeth you eyes.

Not as totally amazing as it should have been. Still worth getting though.
This is a 'spot the character' book, much in the same vein as Where's Wally? . Looking at the pictures, it appears at times that some of the illustrations have been drawn smaller and been enlarged to some extent, rather than drawn to the scale of the page - this becomes apparent in some of the less-complicated pictures, which have distinctly less to hunt around for than others. Most of the pictures are good, however - and the cunning eye will spot some amusing situations happening (for example, a battle-axe wife chastising her husband when she catches him staring at one of the attractive dancers) - so there's a lot of entertainment to be had once you get used to looking for the details. As with the illustrations in all the Asterix books, they have a sketchy quality that is quite messy, and some readers might not like this too much. Asterix fans will love this book without a second thought, though. The items and characters that you have to look for aren't as extensive a list as I would have hoped for, although it's easy enough to play 'I-spy' on the page, or make up your own list for someone else to find. I'll remove a star for my slight misgivings. Where's Wally?

Great fun and brilliant artwork.
I bought this book as much for the artwork as anything else, Uderzo is an amazing illustrator/cartoonist. I grew up reading Asterix and have several of the stories which I read to my kids. They get a buzz spotting the characters here and it's quite tricky in parts so it's a good way to wind them down at bedtime. I also got "Where's Dogmatix" which is more of the same.

Album giochi
Beh. non avevo capito esattamente di cosa si trattasse, alla fine si tratta di un album di immagini, pochissimo testo in inglese, non mi sarà utile per esercitare la lingua... giocheremo sotto l'ombrellone
