Bold, Rich Espresso That Wakes You Up Deep
I recently brewed the Café La Llave Dark Roast Ground Espresso (16 oz brick) in my moka pot and was immediately struck by how strong and aromatic it smelled. The flavor is deep and smooth—not overly bitter—and it delivers that classic Cuban-style espresso punch that really wakes up your senses. Each cup has a full-bodied richness with subtle chocolatey notes, making it a delicious pick-me-up. It is easy to use and isn’t big. What I really appreciate is how versatile it is—whether I use it in an espresso machine, drip maker, or moka pot, it delivers consistently bold results. The airtight brick packaging keeps the beans fresh, and it holds its flavor well over a couple weeks. For anyone who loves a strong, authentic dark roast espresso without additives or harshness, this coffee is a delightful, reliable choice. It is worth the cost.

Bold, smooth, and full of flavor and great price!
This coffee is rich, dark, and exactly what I want in a strong espresso. It has a bold flavor without being bitter, and the aroma alone makes my morning better. I use it in my stovetop espresso maker and it brews perfectly every time. You really can’t beat the price for the quality. It’s become a staple in my kitchen, and everyone who tries it at my house ends up asking what brand it is.Highly recommend if you like your coffee strong, smooth, and full of flavor.

Great value. Great flavor.
I use this in my home espresso machine to make a latte every morning. It does a great job of it. Perfectly ground. Vacuum sealed package stays fresh. Tastes great!I used to run a coffee shop and I know a fair bit about coffee… and, honestly, I think if I had a multi-thousand dollar professional machine, I might want a different kind of ground coffee bean, but I think that this ground coffee does a really great job in my home machine! When I have friends who come over to my house, they are always happy with their espresso drink! If you just have a home machine, in the $200 or so range, this is a great espresso for you — and it’s a great value. We decant the vacuum sealed bag into a reusable tin and just buy a new tin (full of coffee grounds!) when our lid starts to age out of regular use.

An Excellent Brew
Outstanding coffee for the money! The taste is just what you need first thing in the morning. Full bodied and smooth, just a good coffee decently roasted with a traditional flavor, very well balanced. Comes vacuum packed as a "brick" of goodness inside a thick and substantial outer wrapper. The price is affordable in both the 10 oz and 16 oz sizes. I highly recommend this consistent, well roasted coffee.

Nutty and Luciouse! The coffee is pretty good too!
Just teasing, but the coffee is really good. It has the strong coffee/nutty flavor that I love in a good coffee. We have a stainless steel, plug in, percolator, and I put half a basket full of this coffee and fill the rest of the basket with our normal coffee, and it's wonderful! Don't even want to go to drive through for coffee anymore now that we keep this on tap and home.

Very Strong
My dad loves this stuff so I ended up giving it to him. To me, the taste was too bitter. But if you love a strong dark roast this is for you!

Consistently good coffee, reasonably priced
I’ve been buying this coffee for about a year now, sometimes taking a break to try something else but I always end up coming back. I buy 4 lbs. at a time every two months on Subscribe & Save, and the quality has been consistently good each time. I use it for both brewed (French press) and espresso, changing the grind appropriately, and it’s smooth and delicious either way. And you can’t beat the price — I’ve paid a lot more per pound for lesser quality. This will continue to be my go-to for the foreseeable future.

Great
We're a die-hard Cafe Bustello coffee fans. I'm really particular and snobby where Coffee is concerned, I hate any and all coffee that I do not brew. We have a certain strength and boldness that we like, and we will not accept less. So when this little combo arrived and I realized I didn't get what I thought I had ordered I panicked. But it's pretty similar to my C.B. and while I did have to use 5 scoops for half a pot as opposed to our usual heaping 4 scoops per 1/2 pot. I don't mind that part though, I'm down for whatever necessary to get the job done. And I now have a great alternative for the times that C.B is ridiculously overpriced for whatever reason (I've seen it where the cheapest option was at least 10 bucks more than my normally rationally priced coffee.) I really liked whatever the white bag is, the greens were fine but the white had more kick.
