Q: Will this fit laptop which is 2cm wider then MacBook Pro 13"?

Please check the dimensions: 35 x 30 x 10 cm (14 x 12 x 4 in) if your laptopt is under those dimensions it will fit without problem. In addition to that, if your laptop doesn´t fit we recommend you our other bag ,,Liam'' this backpack is bigger then the ,,Mia'' backpack and your laptop will fit well.

Q: Is the laptop pocket padded?

The back of the laptop pocket is padded, not sure why some have answered that it isn't as it may put people off. It's more padded than other similar bags, great backpack.

Q: Would a 15.6" laptop fit?

I am not sure but it fits a Tablet comfortably.

Q: Has anyone tried to machine wash this?

Yes I machine wash mine every 2 months, I put it in a net laundry bag and then do a normal wash and it's fine.
