I’ve bought many pens from a variety of pen brands in the past and their pens can be very hit and miss. Although when buying this, I had no doubts of not being exceptional quality as I have never been disappointed by the build quality of Waterman pens. This pen is just beautiful. It would make for an amazing present as it comes in a really nice presentation box or perhaps just a nice gift to yourself. This pen would be suitable for both men and women. It does feel thicker in the hand compared to most ballpoint pens but I would say it’s suitable for most hand sizes; large or small. It also has some nice weight to it, which I think adds to the luxury of this pen. The gold trim on this pen really makes it look like it’s worth a lot more than what it is. For the price, you are getting a really good pen, from a renowned brand, that can definitely compete with pens from the likes of Montblanc at a third of the price. This pen will certainly turn some eyes and get attention. It is also just a pleasure to write with. It does come with blue ink so if you prefer black you will need to buy one in addition to the pen.

This really is a lux pen. A good weight and cigar shape, together with a good lacquer surface to grip with. I went for the black gloss with hold trim style. A very good price. Treat yourself, your handwriting will thank you and the pen looks great. You coukd spend a lot more and not get any better quality.

This Waterman Expert ballpoint pen writes incredibly smoothly. It is very well made and nicely weighted. I Would have much preferred to receive it with black ink present in the refill because blue ink does not photocopy as well. I bought some additional black ink refills and they are well made too. In my opinion, the Waterman product is better constructed than the similarly price Parker Sonnet item. The three year warranty is a measure of the manufacturer’s confidence. If you would like to own a really high quality ballpoint pen; which feels very nice in the hand and is well weighted plus it writes very smoothly, then you can buy this item with alacrity (at this great price £46.53 instead of £78.00) and have no regrets.

I have had this pen dated from 2011, until I lost it recently (I believe a doctor may have taken it!); hence I am re-ordering it again from amazon. One thing for sure is that I get a lot of compliments for this pen; both appearance and its ability to write. However some people has mentioned that it is heavy for a pen. Sure enough I can't complain about the pen. I signed so many signatures with this pen, and even written essays with it. The quality build of the pen is superb. You can buy any Waterman pen refills of any colour and size nib. The pen itself holds its value still, as the price for a new pen has been fluctuating between £40 and £95. When I first bought it in 2011, it had only cost around £30. Just comes to show how popular it is. I'm certain this pen won't disappoint!

Good quality pen and well presented. Purchased during an Amazon sale this was great value, however not quite the quality of certain other known pen manufacturers.

Excellent ball point pen writes perfectly- and if you lend it to someone it always gets returned because it is so distinguished. Good timely delivery.

Extremely attractive, wonderfully weighted and very well made, this is a remarkably good pen for the price. It was bought to replace a much loved earlier model of the same pen when I broke the clip after many years' use, and I was a little worried that it might not be made to the same spec. If anything, it's better! The balance is perfect, and it sits ideally in one's hand. The cartridges are very easy to find even when travelling (I don't always carry a spare - where does one stop?!).

Fantastic pen. I using one (sparingly of course) for 33 years and even now it is in excellent condition. This second one is intended for a gift.

Extremely elegant pen to write and classy..

Ich schreibe seit fast einem Monat täglich auf der Arbeit, aber auch zuhause immer mal wieder mit diesem Kugelschreiber. Zu Beginn empfand ich die Mine als nicht so weich, wie ich Minen (z.B.) in XB von Faber-Castell gewohnt war. Ich muss jedoch sagen, mit der Zeit wurde es deutlich besser im Schriftbild. Insbesondere während der Arbeit muss ich oft sehr schnell schreiben und bin auf eine Mine angewiesen, mit der ich „mal eben was dahin schmieren kann“. Das klappt super, liegt aber vermutlich auch an den Notizbüchern und ihrem Papier, was ich mir geholt hatte. Nichts desto trotz empfinde ich das Schreiben als sehr angenehm und aus meiner Sicht empfehlenswert. Optisch ist der Kugelschreiber eine klare 1 mit Sternchen. Mir gefallen die dezent goldenen Applikationen und dass immer wieder das Watermann Logo an verschiedenen Stellen eingraviert ist. Das Design ist für mich so schön, dass ich mir bald auch einen Füller dieser Serie zulegen werde. Auch das recht hohe Gewicht und das Gefühl von absoluter Wertigkeit empfinde ich als angenehm. Das Gefühl bleibt, dass man nicht einen beliebigen Stift hat, sondern etwas besonderes. Der Kauf für den Preis von ca. 65€ ist absolut in Ordnung - da findet man ihn bei anderen Anbietern zu deutlich höheren Preisen. Insgesamt von mir nichts zu bemängeln und klar an jeden zu empfehlen.

Quel achat ! Je n'arrive toujours pas à croire que l'on puisse acheter un stylo à bille de cette qualité à ce prix. Il m'a coûté le tiers du prix de mon stylo Pelican Souverain et il se sent mieux dans la main. Le poids est parfait pour moi, la finition émaillée en noir brillant est impeccable, tout comme la finition plaquée or (deux fois plus d'or que le Pelican) et l'action de torsion est douce et satisfaisante lorsque la pointe émerge et se rétracte.De plus, le produit est arrivé dans une excellente boîte de présentation bien emballée Je l'adore.
