Concise and very well written book, just enough to understand the basic principles. I used it in preparation to an exam and found it very helpful.

I could not understand some things- I thought it was because I was stupid and so I went and bought a bigger textbook. Then I realised that there are some gross typos in Chapter 5- possibly more that I have not spotted! Eg: definition of hepatic clearance was given as 1- hepatic extraction ratio. It should be: the amount ESCAPING hepatic clearance = 1- hepatic extraction ratio

It was okay.

One of my favorite PK book to look up any time. I recommend this book to understand the concept of each PK terms.

If you're looking at buying this book, you're probably taking a PK class right now and nearing the deadline for your paper/test (I was when I bought it based on my prof's recommendation). I think there are a couple useful tid bits in the book, but for the most part, reviewing my notes and SEARCHING WIKIPEDIA were more helpful. Many of the sections of the book were not nearly detailed enough to warrant $30. This book is an okay CURSORY REVIEW of PK, maybe it'd be enough for someone in an MD program, but not enough for PhD level classes. ;)- and yes, thank you to the do#che bag who will remind us that not everything on the wikipedia is *true/correct*, but it's $30 cheaper than this book.
