Silver Creek C4243 Leather Dreamcatcher Kit, Multicolor

While this is a cheap way to get started in the way of dream catcher making, and decide if it is something you like to do, I do not recommend it for people who know what they are doing. This product was decent for what I wanted, but I will not buy it again. The string for the web is extremely cheap, sticky, and comes apart while you string it, making your project frustrating. I did not actually receive a metal feather, and barely had enough sued to wrap around the ring as well as string beads on. However, if you still want to buy this, here are a few things to keep in mind: You will not need a clothespin ( anything from fingers to a binder clip will work), any type of glue works (I used hot glue), and while a ruler is useful, it is not required.

Not for young kids to make.. Made one for my daughter who has been having night terrors.. It has been hanging for 6 weeks now.We used supper glue around the ring and it looks like it will last for many years! Great gift, Great project I would age it for 10 years and older if you plan on using super glue.

This was such a great little project to do with my kids. They are younger, so they needed some help, but my 7 year-old did a lot of it by himself. Probably took 20-30 minutes per Dreamcatcher. They look authentic and feel sturdy. I would definitely buy them again - my children LOVE them!

Granddaughter loved it

This is a nice craft kit if you want something small. It was a nice kit to do in my spare time and didn't take very long. If you're looking for a crafting kit to complete in a hurry, it's a nice addition for a novice hobby, but there are other things that take longer or are for more advanced crafters.

Directions need to be clearer but overall, the dream catcher came out cute. I bought different beads since the ones with the kit looked cheap. It takes 2 people to put together. It would be hard to assemble alone.

This was just okay. I bought it for my nine year old niece who is into Native American arts and crafts.She did finally complete the dreamcatcher but it didn't look like the one on the photo and she had to have her mom assist. There was not enough leather cording to make three bottom fringe sets so she ended up with two.It would have been better had the manufacturer included more leather cording because, depending on how tightly the child winds the outside ring, it can run short. An adult will probably have to assist a child younger than 14 or so.

Better quality than most in this price range. Grandkids loved them!
