Excellent slim quality lighter

This lighter arrived the next day after ordering just before Xmas. It came from Belgium too! I had ordered the gold coloured model but the shop phoned to tell me that they had just sold out but could offer the rose coloured version instead that was apparently more popular. I had originally wanted the rose coloured one so didn't mind. I think both are nice! Perhaps I should get that one too!The lighter itself is very well made and very elegant. It is actually quite small and ideal for slipping into a small pocket, either a suit ticket pocket or trouser or shirt pocket, without being noticeable. I am sure it would equally fit into a handbag or small purse. It comes with a small velvet pouch so it is protected.I had researched this lighter on YouTube (https://youtu.be/U0NzYwdgyPw) where it got a rave review. I know it is expensive compared to many other lighters on Amazon (some of which I also have). It does what it is supposed to but does it elegantly. From what I have read the product ought to last as well. No doubt some might say you can buy a lot of cheap lighters over many years for the same amount. That is true. But when you pull out this lighter it not only looks beautiful, it works so smoothly and feels so nice in the hand, that if you can afford it then it is a luxury item worth investing in.

Beautiful, smaller and more delicate than expected.

I received this today and it was smaller and thinner than expected. It's a lovely and delicate lighter which takes a while to alter your usual habits; your cannot hold this like a normal lighter. Once you've understood this, it's so easy to light both cigars and cigarillos. The big plus with this over other Dupont lighters is that is can be easily filled with standard lighter gas refills, representing a significant saving over other Dupont lighters.
