Quiksteel18003 Thermosteel Exhaust System Repair, 3 Oz

Difficult to know how to use this stuff for starters.I cleaned up the parts of steel I was hoping to stick together. Trying to glue together two broken spot welds of four that were holding a very lightweight metal frame together. Two welds were ok so it was easy to hold the parts together while attempting to use this adhesive.Problems for me are in heating up the part to cure the glue.. No mention of what sort of temps or over how long or at what rate.I tried it twice but on both occasions the repairs broke apart easily. So it's off to the bin with it.

Good idea, but didnt hold, the crack blew the weld off after a while, it was worth a try, i guess the crack was just too big and the force was too strong

Does not work on manifolds,

Buy it for crack on manifold and was seal it only for couple days

Premetto che lo sto usando da poco e non ho ancora verificato la tenuta. Ho letto di recensioni che non lo descrivono utile e valido, vedremo. Sicuramente, dopo l’applicazione bisogna ricordarsi di ‘scaldarlo’ per una migliore tenuta ( così dicono le istituzioni). Provvederò ad integrare/ modificare la valutazione dopo congruo periodo di utilizzo
