Husband is happy with them, I would say more but hard to hear what he's saying with this mask on whilst he's airbrush painting some of his war hammar models! LOL

Expensive, but as I spray with some horrible chemicals I have to use a good filter system and this is a good filter system for lacquer paint.

Firstly let's be clear about what you get; the title says 'six piece' - what this means is there are six components that make up this kit. Each side of the respirator requires three of these components, so you are getting two full working filter units. In other words, you are getting a full change of filters for the 3M 6002C mask. These are classified as for 'Spray Paint', although similar-sized particles (and larger) will be stopped too. Check on the 3M website for info on exactly what these are rated for. As usual with 3M you get a well-made product that fits together easily and functions as stated. Having used these for a couple of hours I can attest to their effectiveness, there was no coughing of irritation when I used these; when I took them off, I immediately became irritated by the particles still in the air. So clearly they are very effective. I feel the price is a little high considering they are only rated for nine hours.

I am using these mostly for spray painting scale models. For this I use a combination of both water based acrylic and solvent based paints. I have also used these filters when giving a Polyurethane finish to a work bench. For this work ideally you need more than a simple N95 face mask. When you take off the mask the smell of the solvents hits you. This indicates what would be entering your lungs if you did not have the mask on. Protect your lungs!

Filtros para la mascarilla de 3M imprescindibles para el mantenimiento cuando es necesario cambiarlos, aunque son algo caros es para preservar tu salud y prevenir inhalaciones de sustancias o gases peligrosos, así que no conviene regatear ni usar la mascarilla con los filtros viejos y desgastados.
