Using this with a Valve Index VR headset in another room
I recently moved my office to another room within my home, I wanted to keep the VR space in the same room, so I needed a way to run USB 3.0 a little under 50 ft.I ran this cable through an exterior wall, through the attic and down an interior wall. Make sure to use the Y split male USB port to power the cable. Since it is an active USB cable it will need the additional power to boost the signal thought he cord length.I have tested the speed of this cable and it works like a normal USB 3.0 cable in terms of speed. I also tested it with the Valve Index and so far in my short testing it seems to be working like normal which is great.

Works perfectly
I use this cable for my Occulus Quest 2 headset. I connect this to my pc and am able to game on the headset without issue. No complaints at all.

Works great, even without extra power
I have this cable running all the way around my room, from my computer's USB 3 to where my monitor is, and connect this to my monitor since it has a dual USB 3 hub in it. I use a Samsung T5 SSD and a Wacom Tablet over this connection for photo editing in Lightroom and Photoshop, and I have noticed no difference in performance with the SSD between connecting to directly to my PC versus connecting it using this cable (it holds the images I'm working on). And there is no lag with the Wacom tablet either, and this is without the extra power plugged in. More intensive devices would need the extra power, like external HDD's, etc, but it was a pleasant surprise that I don't need to occupy an extra power socket... Very pleased.

Too many repeaters for my application
I connect all the equipment on a telescope thru a single cable and right now I have a 25' Tripp Lite which works well. I would like a longer cable and tried this one on the end of the 5Gb/s Tripp Lite active repeater cable. But the result was an error I have never seen - too many repeaters (limit of 5) in a USB line. And no connectivity, i.e. the camera did not show up in the device manager list. I would remove teh 25' Tripp Lite but the ZWO 1600 camera uses the USB3 super speed cable with the two connectors.

It works to extend USB to iPhone.
I bought this to extend the usb cable from an iPhone that I use as a second camera for our church’s livestream. It works perfectly. I tried connecting with NDI but the lag was too great. This solves that problem.

Nice long range
I spend lots of my time in huge data centers. Sometimes a table might not be very close. Like 40 feet away. With this cable I am able to connect to the computers USB port and access remotely. This make life a lot easier when you might be working on that computer for hours and you can sit at a table. Cable works as advertised.

great product
great product but there's connectors in the cable that made it difficult to snake through walls kept getting stuck

Still works reliably several months in
Mixed reviews for this so I thought I'd share. For me this works fine, I'm using it with USB3 socket on a computer and USB webcam on the other end in a public venue that is broadcasting services during the lockdowns. We use it with a USB 2A adapter plugged into the "additional power" socket and it's been absolutely reliable with that in place.. Seen lots of other long USB cables break over time (we've had a few other brands pack in too) but this one has been reliable so far.

Does not work
Another complete waste of my time computer peripheral. Planned on going from my 2019 MacBook Pro to a 7 port atolla USB 3.0 hub which works fine when plugged in directly. For whatever baffling reason that I refuse to make my problem when on the other end of this cable only the first 3 of 7 ports work and since I don’t have endless hours in life to troubleshoot forever why the hub only not even quite half works with this cable I am going to go ahead and label this cable a garbage product.
