Like them but don't love the.
On deceleration or light throttle it sounds like straight cut gears. Hope they get more quite after a break-in period. My 06 Mustang got 19.5mpg on the freeway and at 74mph turns 2500rpm. 4th gear now pulls like 3rd with 3.55s. Wish I had done sooner.

Very Good Gear Set
I paired this (4.30) gear set in my 03 Mach 1 with a Ford install kit and Ford lsd rebuild with royal purple 75w90 and Friction modifier and it has no whine when operating. Gear Set is very smooth and install was perfect.

Noisy I mean annoying
Update***I had the diff set up with Ford performance gears, we used the same bearings and WOW, this things is great! Smooth and quiet. Ford gear in a Ford housing, who would've thought? The Motive gears are noisier than an old beat up hydrostatic tractor. Whine on accel and decel They are 4:10's but still...And before you say it, I've been very careful with them, multiple short slow heat cycles and they where set up by a veteran driveline tech with over 30yrs experience. In fact I haven't made any hard pulls or high speed driving on them yet. The shop recommended Motive. He said they set up with no issues however they are noisy. He checked them after 75 miles after I voiced my concerns. He said they are patterning perfect. It must be the material or machining process Motive uses.Alot of money spent getting this done so I can listen to my gears in my sweet Hotrod. I guess I'll have to keep the top down and enjoy the wind in my hair. Do some research when you buy your next gear set.

Installed in 2014 F150 8.8 RWD, this gear is THICK, you will need a notched crosspin, if you don't have a notched crosspin you'll need to grind on the gear teeth to get your crosspin back in.
