Very good quality and a head turner. Superb quality

This is more expensive than ones in joke shops, but I needed it delivered quickly for a fancy dress party and was happy to pay more. It's a hat... It stayed on my head. People knew I was a pirate. It's fine.

Lasted the night which was all I needed.

Poppers were completely missing on all 3 sides so the hat is not the perfect tricorn shape - brass poppers are shown in the product photo - but on the one I received there were 3 holes where poppers should have been fitted - without these poppers this hat is floppy - and it looks odd and cheap when worn. Also, the fabric is pretty flimsy compared to previous similar products in this range so this one is not suitable for outdoor wear and will be completely unsuitable to wear in drizzly or wet weather - therefore not much use as a 'pirate festival' hat. Disappointed with quality compared to other products I've previously bought in this range.

It is ok but it's not brilliant. Adult sized as per the description but a couple of major disappointments.Firstly it is basically cardboard and having been badly packaged arrived quite squished. There are three bits of velcro on the crown and at strategic places round the outside which means it fastens up into the classic tricorn shape but other than that the hat won't keep it's shape due to the squashing. The velcro doesn't look that strong to me I suspect the hat will "undo" over the course of the evening. Even with the velcro it doesn't have the smooth romantic look of the picture, it looks cheap and badly made... which is exactly what it is.Secondly the picture is misleading. The hat arrived a lot more gold decorations (an V shape on each of the three "sides") which spoils the look for me. It won't matter if you're looking for a generic pirate hat and don't mind a bit of extra decorations but I was specifically looking for one which only had a little bit of trim round the edge.If what you want is a cheap bit of headgear for a single evening's fancy dress this is fine. If you're a serious cosplayer or looking for a hat for an am dram show this is not the hat for you.

Bought for young teenage son and the fit was very good. Material very sturdy

This is for my 3 year old’s highway rat costume. I painted a feather red at the tip and added it and it looks fab. It’s an adult size but doesn’t look ridiculously big on him at all but it does move about on his head... (the front doesn’t stay the right way all the time.) Took a punt that this would arrive a little early as i’d not left enough time to order it and it’s arrived the day before I need it, 2 days before it’s due!!He’s absolutely thrilled with it and can’t wait to wear his costume.

Sturdy good quality item. I got for child and had to pad the inside to make it fit but it was worth doing that as such good quality.
