Lectron V2L Adapter - Vehicle to Load Adapter Compatible with Hyundai Ioniq 5/6 and Kia EV6 (Black)

Works perfectly with IONIQ 5, which instantly recognizes it and starts V2L support. I have used it to provide up to 1800W (15A @ 120VAC) backup power during power outages, in lieu of a portable generator. (See "The IONIQ Guy" on YouTube for his approach to that use.)

If you have Ioniq 5 (or EVs with V2L), you should have it. It gives 110v for electric devices and very helpful for camping

This tool is great for accessing my 77 kWh car battery. Delivers 1,800 watts to power a lot of items in the house, so we're ready for the next weather related black-out.

Works. Be advised, this is not compatible with newer Ioniq 5 unless you use an adapter.

This appears to be nice product that does what it claims to do! I purchased it so I could use my EV as a backup power source in case of a power failure. The Lectron was a fraction of the cost of the dealer's V2L adapter. I did a quick test when it arrived. I pulled it out of the box, plugged it into my Hyudai Ioniq 5, and plugged in a fan just to see if it worked. It did! Just like that! No need to do any sort of adjustment to the car's settings. Super easy! A couple weeks later I needed to trim some branches using an electric pole saw. The trees were hundreds of feet from the nearest outlet. I drove the Ioniq 5 to the trees, plugged in the V2L adapter, plugged in a 50 ft extension cord, and it worked like a charm. In hind sight, I should have checked the battery consumption, but since my actual sawing time was no more than 5-10 minutes, I'm sure it was minimal. To summarize: a reasonably priced, easy to use product that is so simple, I can't imagine it ever failing. Based on my experience, I highly recommend it.

This adapter turns your charging port into a 15A 120 V AC outlet. I bought it to be able to use the car as an emergency back up for small appliances during a power outage. Another use would be to provide a little bit of charge to another vehicle using a Level 1 charger. Well built, reasonably compact. Have not pushed it to its full rated capacity, so cannot speak to how much it heats up.

Works on my 2025 ioniq5 that has original NACS port with the adapter. Car computer detected V2L and automatically started. Using during the next camping trip.
