Sega The Official Coloring Book

Great colouring book and a wonderful trip down memory lane. The illustrations are so fantastic and I am loving taking my time through the more detailed pictures

Great for any retro gaming fan

out of 50 pages, featuring 8 different games (of which only 4 i'd actually ever played!) there are maybe 10 pages that are worth the effort of colouring in, and it feels like over half of the book is dedicated to phantasy star, altered beast and alien syndrome (no i'd never heard of it either!) ok...so they aren't my favourite games....hell some of them didn't even get released in my continent! (Europe) I love Sega and colouring, but I do not want to colour in 7 altered beast pages followed by 6 phantasy star pages, wheres Ecco the dolphin? Where's Comix Zone? Earthworm jim?!?! Gunstar Heros????? the rest of the pictures are literally pictures of the consoles themselves and the peripherals (oh how fun, i get to colour in a jet black console! oh....now ive got to colour in the controllers too!?!) The Streets of Rage pages are also (in my opinion) a lower art quality than the original cover, and very underwhelming, however the Shinobi pages stand head and shoulders above the rest as far as quality and i feel they even improve on the original work. i wish i could give this a 2.5 stars, as half of the book is actually pretty good, but considering the fact this is actually quite an expensive colouring book leaves me feeling that two stars is justified.. I could only really recommend this book to the most hardcore of SEGA fans as there are better, more affordable video game related colouring books available at a lower cost, unless you are a huge fan of one of the games in particular, and even then, proceed with caution as IMO the altered beast and SoR artwork is a little off.

Neben den Bildern, die Covern und Postern entliehen sind, findet sich zu jedem Bild auf der Rückseite immer noch einige weitere Informationen zu dem Spiel oder den Figuren.

Es un libro precioso y merece muchísimo la pena, y tal es así, que da pena colorearlo. Mi recomendación, si os da pena/miedo colorearlo diréctamente, es que hagáis fotocopias y las uséis para colorear. Si os gusta SEGA, esto es imprescindible.
