We had a Mink problem at the fishing pond the club owns. THe trap was very effective until it went missing but hey ho. If the Mink come back we will definitely buy another one and a bigger padlock.

Not a great mechanism from the tread plate to the gates. Even with the setting bars at the very edge the tread plate takes considerable weight to activate. Even tried tying the bait onto the plate to make it harder to take the bait without triggering but this didn't work either.

It's a gr8 piece of kit I find tho u need to set the trap as fine as possible (hair trigger) but I did definitely buy again

Mink problem on one of the lakes

Deliver 2 days before I was expecting it which is EXCELLENT.I have never used mink traps before so also bought the DEFENDER Animal Trap cage.This trap has the advantage of being open at both ends...BUT.....the Defenders model looks much better quality.I will be setting them this weekend - so I guess will leave it to the minks to see which ones work best!
