2 Pack Blue&Black Magnetic Putty

We've had tons of magnetic slimes in the past and they don't really react, but these ones do! You can visibly see the slime "sucking" in the magnet when you set it on top. The kiddo loves making time lapse videos of it! Don't get the magnets stuck together though, because they are strong and hard to remove.

It would be great if you got two magnets for each set. it is fun to watch the putty fight over which magnet it will goto.

One of them came hard solid

Got this putty bc it had decent reviews and thought the magnetic properties might help my arthritis while I used it. The puttys were magnetic and the two magnets included worked. But thats the only positive. This stuff was in oil or grease of some kind, maybe to keep it pliable? Idk but was gross! It smelled like the slimy plastic fishing lure worms my dad used to get in a plastic pack yrs ago. Not stinky, but smells like oil. Not only that, but the ‘gold’ putty was discolored and almost hard. The ‘silver’ putty was also discolored, but it was still slightly more pliable than the gold one. But without knowing what I was getting all over my hands, I didn’t want to leave it on or rub it in by using the puttys. Cleaned my hands off right away. Maybe this is just old stock from a warehouse in china, but even then the oil would still be present, even more so. Steer clear of this one, maybe another seller/item of similar will be better 🤷🏼‍♀️

The putty was disappointing to say the least. We bought it for my daughter to split & give one to a school friend for the holidays & keep one for herself. We opened the silver (we got silver & blue) - it was hard as a rock. Not putty like at all. I put it in a ziploc bag and submerged it into a cup of boiling water for about 15 mins. It was then at least more putty like and malleable - however it wasn’t the fluid type of putty it shows in the pictures. Also - nothing we received said we would have to submerge it into boiling water to get it to putty consistency. All in all - I do not recommend. Once warmed it’s a decent fidget, but the magnet is pretty worthless due to the lack of fluid consistency.

I gave this as an "emergency gift" to plus-ones at a Christmas party. As others have noted, the magnet is the square cube, and the putty contains the metal, so unfortunately it will not stick to your fridge. It was a wildly popular gift, though, and I would recommend it for children or adults. Note that dirt or oil (or food) will stain the putty.

One of the magnetic putty cans arrived with the correct texture. The second can in the package arrived and the putty was dried out. It couldn’t be stretched or molded in the hand. It split in half and we tried to work it in our hands but it wouldn’t soften.

My kids really like this. It's a little expensive, but is cool and fun to use.
