Good alarm clock for the price but not perfect
This is a good alarm clock for its price. All the functions work well and it is easy to set up. However, the maximum sound is pretty low, the sound quality not perfect, and there is a faint beeping noise when the radio alarm goes off in the morning. The alarm is also quite difficult to turn off. Would still recommend, but be mindful of these details.

Lloytron daybreak.. Small and not too loud an alarm
Wanting to replace my bedside clock radio alarm clock I was rather surprised at how small this was... no bigger than a drinks mat. It has a bright screen and is easy to use but as I wear ear plugs I found the alarm to be rather too quiet. I did test it without my earplugs but haven't yet used it for a real test so just guessing it won't wake me. I was going to return it but thought it would be handy as a travel radio alarm clock for holidays as its that small, so I've kept it. It wasn't expensive, so if it doesn't wake me, it's not a great loss.

Don't waste your money
First problem was volume had to be set to maximum to get anything sensible from the radio. Second problem - the alarm came on at the right time but with a hiss or crackle and the radio had to be retuned. This continued to happen although not every day. Third problem - after coming on in the morning, the radio would switch off at random times, even thought the "stay-on" had been set for an hour.

Super little radio alarm clock
I love this! I wanted a mains-powered alarm clock so I could be more confident of waking up in time to get my daughter to her GCSE exams. I also wanted a radio playing to help me go to sleep, but for it to switch off automatically. This works brilliantly. For the size and price, I think the sound quality is very good. I am sleeping much better now.
