Q: Is there velcro anywhere on this pack?

I don't believe there is any velcro. I just returned this product after only 1 use. The side bags are sloppy and only held in place by the abdominal straps that fit thru a loop. It's easy to miss the loop then the pack is just hanging. The "D" ring for a lead is at the back of the pack - about mid to low area of the spine. That doesn't give ANY lead control! The "D" ring should have been placed on the other end of the handle to be between the shoulder blades of the dog for better control. The pack slid around on my dog quite a bit - even after multiple adjustments. It was too frustrating so I returned it. I have a 55 pound Golden Retriever. This pack may work better on a bigger dog. I purchased the Large based on her girth measurement & weight so it should have fit her but it didn't. Good Luck!

Q: How big are the pockets? How much things could they carry on they. Could they carry small amount of light groceries?

The outer pockets are very large. And within them are smaller pockets. Groceries- not bread or milk, and I have an xlarge. Maybe a few things of light weight, boxed goods or a couple cans. Fruits, veggies, sure. :) My past experience with packs was to stay with light weight. :( Haven't tested this one yet on what the limit is.

Q: Has anyone figured out a solution to keep the pack from slipping & becoming lopsided? We are very careful to load the pack evenly but the top slips.

There's not much you can do besides load up as evenly as you can and grab the handle to adjust as necessary.

Q: I ordered a different one but was sent this.Hang all over, even though it was equally balanced it kept sliding down. Does anyone else have this prob?

I had the same problem. I ordered a different type and it still slid. Wondering if it's just the way a dog moves that makes them slide
