Px8 won
Couldn't decide between bosses comfort quiet ultra and px8.If you are looking for sound , feel premium product the px8 is way to go.If you are only after heavy low bass then bosse is they way to go.You can't hear a lot more sound from sound tracks with px8. Starting from low volume.Comfort - can't really tell difrence. Both (px8 and bose) comfy. Bit more heavier.Bose felt cheap a bit. Px8 ear cups are super comfy and don't fell like going apart vs bose.Quality build - px8 won. Superior to Bose. Aluminium vs plastic.Sound - my galaxy s21 ultra sounds better than ipad air 2024 with Spotify with same settingsI think apple is trolling non apple products (I've got air pods pro 2).Px8 + android = better sound quality.Px8 + ipad air 2024 = sound bit poor.Px8 + iPhone 15 will test later but I think it would be same story.ANC - that everyone complain. I've got airpod pro 2 and to be honest I quiet similar.Px8- anc with higher - mid tone is better cancelled then low.Where airpods pro 2 are similar to bose comfort quiet ultra with ANC.I think bose has better ANC because by default with switched off power gives you better sound dumping than px8.If you need volume 90% and heavy bass go with bose if you are after quality sound go with px8

Amazing Sound but Overpriced.
These headphones look and feel amazing to hold. Also, the sound quality of these are incredible. They are definitely the best sounding headphones I've ever used, but that is only if it's from a high quality source. They don't sound much better than £200 headphones if you're just listening to normal mp3 quality. As for the noise cancellation, they are nowhere near the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultras or even the Sony XM4. Finally, in terms of comfort they are quite heavy compared to the Sony and the Bose and can feel slightly uncomfortable after prolonged use.

Px8 a state of luxury?
Well what can I say about the bowers & Wilkins px8’s; other than profusely foaming at the mouth. These headphones look stunning; after coming from the Bose 700’s which are a very good pair of headphones for the me the let down was the little rattle you get if you walk a bit fast. (Due to it being made of plastic) no such isssues with px8’s. The audio is bright and vibrant. Now I’m no audiophile I’m not going to bamboozle you with terminology and expert advice. But I like the soundstage. And the app is pretty decent. Might not offer much in the sense of the equaliser but it is good enough. I find these headphones great. Haven’t quite tested the battery yet. So not sure on the 30 hour battery life. Though i find most claims from headphones to be true and if not it’s not always far off. Now off course the big question can you justify paying such a price. This is the big one right? I myself found them worth it. The noise cancellation is decent (might not beat Sony) but they do a very good job. And yes there are cheaper decent headphones out there. The aforementioned bose 700’s which are a very good pair of headphones or the Sony m5’s. So this comes down to affordability. I myself would recommend these. You’ll be riding the Victoria line or Piccadilly line the envy of other passengers 😀 (or maybe not) hopefully I’ve been helpful. If I haven’t I apologise greatly.

Terrible build quality, soo disappointed.
I was well impressed when took them out of the box, beautiful looking and feeling headphones … for about 5 minutes, as soon as I’ve put them on my head, I’ve heard snapping sound coming from headband, took them right off and looks like two pieces that form head band cover have split. Snapped them back together, but as soon as I’ve tried to put them on my head those would come apart again. There seem to be a lot mentioned about PX7/PX8 poor build quality, and unfortunately that is for sure true. Definitely not worth the price.Sound wise I was not impressed either, my daily drivers are ATH-M50xBT2 and HDS660S2, there was just no comparison to Sennheisers, PX8’s sounded just plain bad, even a lot cheaper M50x’s sounded nearly as good if not better (maybe slightly more congested).I’ve still got B&W P7’s which sound fantastic but those PX8’s are just disappointing on every front. To me those are more of a premium show off pieces (if you get one that does not fall apart) than high quality audio equipment.

Great audio, not so great software
Owned Airpods Max and Bose QC35 MK II for several years, the PX8's really do sound great. Presentation of music is accurate and enjoyable. As an owner of B&W speakers I'm already pleased with what they offer and these are the best headphones I've heard. Not quite as stable on my shaved head as the airpods but if you're not looking down or moving about too much they're fine. Better comfort and less fatiguing than the airpods although your ears can feel warm after extended use.Unfortunately I'm returning these as when connected to more than 1 device you get random drop outs which I emailed bowers and wilkins about, they advised to factory reset which I did but the issue persisted. Will be sticking with airpods max as they work much more seamlessly if working between multiple devices. Yes they don't connect to two at the same time but it means you don't get annoying drop outs either. Unfortunately this was during work Teams meetings and I was missing key information when they dropped out and I'd have to manually reconnect. For such an expensive pair of headphones this just wasn't workable for me.
