I bought this for my two month old, because he was obsessed with us having him “walk” so that he could feel things with his feet, and he loved it then and still loves and abuses it now that he has turned one and is toddling on his own. He loved it when he was just learning to crawl across it too. He loves the colorful lights on the speaker pack as well as the animal and music sounds. I love that the power switch isn’t overt and I can turn it off when we need a break and he doesn’t know how to turn it back on. Considering how many hours he has put into this toy, that it still works great is a shock.The music notes are a major octave, I think in the key of C. The black keys are decoration. It does fold down nicely to put it away, and the gray underside folds to the outside, so it took a long time for my baby to recognize it when I have it put away. It comes with some cute flashcards with music to play on one side and animals with their names on the other, which is a very nice touch.

Granddaughter loved making music on this matt.Easy set up and kept her interested in it for a long time.Good quality for the price.

My 1 year old absolutely loves it. She has a barn with animals and is learning to match them. She loves the musical songs and usually sits on it to keep it going. If something happened to it, I would by a replacement.

The small mat size is most appropriate for a toddler, but our one year old was so attracted to the colorful brightly flashing lights in the speaker box on the corner that he wasn’t interested in pressing on the animals or the keys. He just wanted to pick up the box and walk around holding it, trailing the mat. The lowest volume setting is still too loud. Otherwise, it’s a nice product, perhaps better for 18 or 24 months. It requires the separate purchase of 3 AA batteries.

Bought it for my brother, it’s a nice toy I recommend.

It's fine! I honestly donated it after a few months. First, because I was soooo tired of hearing all of the songs LOL and two, because I felt like my baby didn't care for it the way I thought she would.

Was a hit and the animal sounds are great!
