Agralan AS31 Soaker Hose End Closures (Pack of 4)

The stoppers supplied fit tightly and effectively into Hozelock soaker hose. they will probably need to be cut off the hose end if ever the hose needs reopening which will lose 2-3cm of hose. The residue on the stopper can then be cut off by Stanley knife (avoid cutting the stopper itself). The stoppers supplied looked a little diferent from these, having a flattened end (suitable for a spanner to turn while pushing into hose) but this was not needed and so not a significant difference from those illustrated. Will buy more when I extend my irrigation system next year.

The items were very easy to use and performed really well. I will probably purchase more. I have recommended the items to my friends.

The soaker hose was not delivered on time if fact took a week a longer than expected but the product is good and does the job perfectly and easy to set up

I used these to plug one end of sprinkler hose which I’m using to water my hedging screens. They fit well and no leakage.

fitted to a draper soaker hose but popped out, had to fit a jubilee clip to hold in place, BUT this may have been my fault if the water pressure was too high? its my first time using a soaker system so i may be doing it wrong (it wasnt on full power) once the jubilee clip was fitted it worked fine with no leaks

What can go wrong with a solid piece of plastic with no moving parts? I suppose it could have been too loose and fallen out or leaked. Well it fit very well, too well, so well it was a struggle to get them in. Here's the tip they could have included in the pack: fill a bucket with very hot water. Soak the end of the hose in it for a few minutes to soften it. The bung slips in way more easily. Also works for the T-connectors.

Easy to use and very effective

Difficult to fit but once on stops water escaping.
