This tank light is easy to install & gives a good amount of light on each setting. I like how easy it is to adjust & how many light settings there are. I would highly recommend this light.

The light works perfectly for my 5.5 gallon Neocaridina shrimp tank! My floating plants (Salvinia) are looking great as well as the Anubias, Java Fern, Ludwigia Repens, and Java Moss I have growing in the tank. I have the light set on the full spectrum setting and at 55% on the 12 hour timer, from 7AM to 7PM. I like how the light has 3 different light modes, and the adjustability of brightness levels for each setting. The built in timer is a great addition and is very easy to setup. Installation was easy to put on the 5.5 gallon framed tank. I did have to mount it with the mounting screw on the inside of the tank, not on the outside, so that the light would be supported and not fall/ lean towards the middle of the tank where the water is. The light arrived on time and it was packaged very well with NO damage to the box or light. Great light for a small tank (5-10 gallons) as the listing suggests. Really good price for a quality light. Would definitely buy again!

So far, a GREAT light. Always expected from Hygger. There is a timer setting (which I use) but it is not the day/night cycle as they have on other lights by hygger. It does the job, and very well compared to some lighting. I have not had it long. All light modes in photos, 4th photo shows the true output (my floaters block out quite a bit of light). I prefer the full spectrum light mode, personally. Very easy to set up, and configure the lighting settings. I love the bendable arm. Seems to fit on rimmed tanks nicely.

The light is well made with good materials. The flexible neck makes tank maintenance very convenient. But the light falls short because the memory program seems to only remember one memory setting. My goal was to have a 9 hour full spectrum cycle followed by a 6 hour blue-red low light cycle, but after a few days of trying it doesn't seem to function this way.
