Best Wrangler Gloves
These are the best wrangler gloves I have ever worn. Really well made, with strong stitching and resilient palms and finger pads. Before I began to use them, I gave them a liberal coating of leather conditioner - wear gloves and then rub it in like hand cream. Leave to absorb and repeat. Leave to dry in, but wear or break in to mould to hand. You do get dye on hands though! Great for all uses, on my horse, or tractor or machinery, fingertip control of reins. When I finish this review, I’m ordering another couple of pairs. Sizing is generous.

Durable, tough, yet flexible - buy larger size than you think, so in winter can wear under gloves
Gardening, fencing, building work - great quality, nice supple leather - just a bit cold in winter so buy a larger size and wear under gloves for insulation and use these as the tough outer gloves to protect you. I have bought these or very similar for 20 years. Occasionally need to apply a leather feed to keep supply, especially when they have been wet and dried on a radiator!

Size and asking price varies, but good gloves
So I bought these for general protection around the garden and also when handling heavy/sharp metal objects. I measured my hand according to the instructions supplied and 'L' were indicated. However, the asking prices from a selection of vendors on here varies greatly - like by 100% or more. That's ridiculous, are they worth £25 or £50?? What are the material and manufacturing costs that determine selling price? There was a time years ago when a higher quality item naturally fetched a higher asking price but now it's just random pricing depending on what the seller thinks they can get away with. Anyway, my point is I could not find gloves in my size at a decent price but these (XL) gloves were available and I took the chance they may fit. Wow, I could only just pull them on - very tight. They're leather though so I expect them to stretch a little over time. They are a bit thin so I'm dubious the gloves offer much by way of protection against thorns or sharp edges etc., but they should have good abraision resistance. Time will tell.

Comfortable and tough.
I normally take a size 10 or 11 in gloves and these xl fitted ok when I first put them on.However, after a few hours work, they softened and seem to fit very well now. They are strong and protect my hands from the worst bramble and some of the blackthorn, and also for handling frayed wire rope.

with good quality thick leather and heavy duty stitching
The gloves appear well made, with good quality thick leather and heavy duty stitching. I broke mine in as soon as they arrived, by soaking them in warm water for 10 minutes, then wearing them until they dried out. Once dry, they fit the cast of my hand very well, and are very comfortable with good dexterity in the fingers.

Excellent quality leather gloves
Excellent quality leather gloves.Straight out of the box they are stiff but not uncomfortable, after a short time working with them they become like a second skin. Most comfortable gloves I've used and I use gloves every day on site.Very hard wearing and will last a long time, but for the relatively small price you cannot beat them for quality, durability & comfort

The sizing of the gloves is not satisfactory
An XL pair of gloves was ordered and delivered (I have large hands), however I was unable to get my hands into the gloves. The sizing of the gloves on the labels does not appear to be an accurate indication of the true size of the gloves.(My sister tried the gloves and fortunately they fitted her and she has asked to keep them, so I shall not need to return them)!

Not suitable for thorns and brambles
Such a shame I had to give these gloves a 3* rating, this is because they are way too thin for the purpose I purchased them for, which is to protect hands from thorns and brambles in job. Otherwise they are lovely soft supple leather and ideal for use just as driving gloves
