Dark, twisty, unputdownable, fabulous!
I have read everything Sue E-W has ever written so I knew what to expect quality-wise and I was so right – but also, she just keeps getting better and better. This is a powerful book about a woman (Emily) slowly eroding through a drip-drip of poison both from outside forces and her own paranoia which may or may not be justified. A perfect friend (Anna) works her way into Emily’s life like a bot fly. We can see it happening but it’s so subtly and expertly done, who wouldn’t have fallen for the same seduction. But does Anna mean any harm? Don’t take things at face value in this book.Plus Emily’s husband was seeing someone else when they met and there are those who don’t believe leopards change their spots fuelling her insecurities. Are her thoughts out of control or is that annoying low-level niggle that something is very wrong in her life when everything appears to be right, a true indicator? There is a great skill in dropping the breadcrumbs of clues for readers to follow at the perfect intervals, masterfully timed. This is not a predictable thriller, I was very surprised by some of the turns. But what it is is a cracking read from a great storyteller who has real insight into female, male and dark psychology.

They are both teachers at the same school where they met.The plot of this unravels at the perfect pace. The author gives us enough information to allow us to try and work out what may happen next. I have definitely been unsuccessful.#allyoueverwanted was a book that I was completely obsessed with and unable to put down. Anna has made me feel uneasy from the very beginning. Something about her has made me uncomfortable. There is nothing predictable about this book. I have been completely shocked at how the events have turned throughout.I love that the reader is given both Anna and Emily’s perspectives in this book. It really gives you a feel for what is taking place on the pages. This is a book packed with so much suspense and emotion. This is a book which is beautifully written and completely enthralling. This has been a fabulous introduction to the work of this author. I absolutely will be adding more to my TBR.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Incredible! Still thinking about it!
One of my top reads of the year! All You Ever Wanted is a dark domestic drama that ticks every single box, with an ending that’ll have you thinking for months.I knew this book would be good, but I didn’t realise how much I’d love it and how much it would take over my brain space! Such a dark, compelling and emotional read. I wasn’t mentally prepared for how much I became emotionally invested in these characters and their complex lives! The plot had me constantly thinking, the feeling of knowing something wasn’t right was so satisfying and impressed me more with each passing chapter. The author has done everything right here and it’ll be hard to forget such a gripping and intense journey. If you love family drama, can’t-put-down thrillers and obsessive characters, you’ll adore this book!

Another powerful read from this writer.
I've read all Susan's books so I know I'm in for a treat when a new one comes out. All You Ever Wanted is a thoughtful and multi-layered plot packed with dark touches and brimming with emotion. Susan cranks up the creep factor in all the right places making this a slow-burning domestic thriller with a deep heart. Susan is a writer at the top of her game, and she's not budging. I can easily see this as a TV drama. Highly recommended.

Thrilling domestic drama, proper page turner!
Enjoyed every page of this novel, I was gripped from page one and flew through it as all the leading characters were relatable, perhaps not likeable- but kept me hooked waiting for the next twist! A fabulous read.
