These work very well! Purchased for occasional use for when the UK pavements are icy. Tested out already this week! I have a metal hip so I need to be careful if falls. I was very worried but I didn’t feel vulnerable in these. Other people were walking along very gingerly but with these I could walk on the icy parts confidentially. They give good grip. They do make a noise as they hit the ground when you walk but I will take that over slipping any day. I wear a size UK 3 shoe but as they were going over my chunky winter boots I sized up and got a medium as suggested in the details and they were a perfect fit. Easy to stretch on and off and didn’t move or come off at all while walking. Very pleased. I’d recommend!

Wow wow WOW!!! I bought these in 2023 for icy pavements but never used them until recently. With the bad weather spell we've had there's been alot of icy pavements in the city where I live. I need to walk a short distance to work and there's been ice on the pavements. So I got these gems out and finally used them. And I'm impressed. No slipping or sliding occurred. My feet sunk into ice patches with ease. However! I was walking carefully because I didn't want to take risks. I walked on wet but clear patches of pavements where I could. But relied on these cleats to get me through icy patches on the pavements that I couldn't avoid. They worked a treat. I got to work and back safely. My only annoyance is that the spikes wear out quickly due to walking on pavements. So these cleats will have to be replaced quickly. By that I mean I'll have to buy more pairs. 1 pair will last me a day and a half I can tell. So I'll need extra pairs. Otherwise, they are worth the buy, comfortable to use. I'd recommend buying velcro straps to secure the cleats to the shoe to avoid coming off when walking. The cleats do fit snugly as is to my work trainers but velcro straps would add extra security. Just my opinion. But 5 stars well earned. Thank you to the seller and manufacturers for these amazing cleats! Bravo!

What's the item is fit for purpose and is easy to fit on it's a bit rattly when fitted and walking it makes a lot of noise but is of good decent value for money

Brilliant! I used it over my running shoes this morning and was able to go running in the snow and ice!

I would give 6 stars if I could! We have just spent 5 days in Tromso, Northern Norway and these were an absolute godsend! We were faced with at least a foot of snow, and roads were just pure ice, these spikes gripped perfectly and gave us complete peace of mind I simply wouldn’t have been able to walk without these as my boots were very slippery! After this trip, I don’t think there will be much more of an extreme acid test for this product so I’m highly qualified to make this review, if you want to be safe in the snow and ice, these are the only product you need!

After my wife and I enjoyed a winter wonderland walk last weekend which soon turned into treacherous conditions due to the compacted snow/ice I wanted to get some crampon-style grips for our footwear. Near the end of the walk she slipped and hit the ground with a huge jolt, thankfully she was able to get up but after a few days, she's experiencing whiplash-like symptoms. I ordered a M to see if they'd fit over her size 5 walking boots, not even close. Next, I ordered the L, slightly better but still too tight, also, I have a UK 7 pair of sketchers, still too tight. Finally, I ordered the XL, they fit perfectly on my UK 7 (see picture) but are awkward on my wife's boots, they do not fit at the heel end, they easily slip off. That's just the style of her boot so will need to rethink. However, the XL is a perfect fit for me so will keep them ready for the next snow/ice period. I've uploaded a picture showing the differences in M - L - XL

They looked small before I put them on but they were fine and worked well on ice and snow

jedes Jahr bevor der Winter kommt, freue ich mich darauf diese Schuhspikes zu kaufen, denn seitdem ich sie bei Schnee-Eis verwende, fühle ich mich auch sicher beim gehen. Nur bei Schneematsch gehen sie nicht gut. Und besser eine Nummer grösser bestellen

Haven't used them yet, but they look wonderful and fit my boots perfectly.
