My friend has the more expensive Kove split speakers which I really liked, but couldn't exactly spend $100 on. I saw these for half the price and thought I'd give them a try. I'm really happy that I did! The sound is great! It has really good bass and I just love being able to separate them to get surround sound! My friend with the more expensive speakers was really impressed by them, too! He said that these are basically exactly like the one he has.

These speakers are amazing for the price. The only con that I would say is I would like them to be a bit louder. We bought for our backyard and if traffic is going by it can be a bit drowned out. The quality though is amazing for the price. I was looking for cheaper version of the more expensive brand. I would still recommend.

Being able to split it into two is super nice. When I was moving I didn't have to worry about moving the speakers cause i had it in two places

this thing is not loud at all! i can barely hear it over the regular daily noises like air conditioners and noise from other rooms, it just adds to the nonsense instead of drowning it out. super disappointed

I got this to be a speaker for a road trip since I could put one in the back of the van and one in the front ( radio in van is broken). It was delivered the day before we left. I used them that day for about 30min. When I went to use them the next day one speaker wouldn’t even charge and the main one was too quiet.

The concept of this speaker is awesome! Being able to split in half isn't something I've seen before in a speaker and I'm quite happy with it!The sound quality is really nice especially considering that the speakers wirelessly connect to each other and then one to your device. It gets pretty loud for what it is and I didn't notice any lag or delay when using both speakers.There is somethings that I wasn't as impressed with. First because the speaker is technically 2 speakers, you have to charge both halves. I kind of thought from the pictures and description that it might charge while together but it does not. There is a plus side to this though, and that is you can charge them in separate places and use them as 2 different speakers (more on that in a bit). The second thing that gets to me is that the description says USB C at the time of this review, but the speaker I received is USB Micro. Not a huge deal but still I wanted to point it out. The last negative I had was that if you turn off one speaker without disconnecting it first, it also turns off the other speaker. All in all, the negatives aren't that bad.Now, onto using this as 2 separate speakers, this is something you can totally do! If you press the power button on one of the speakers 3 times it disconnects and allows you to connect directly to either side. You basically have 2 portable water resistant speakers! They connect to devices easily and back to each other pretty easy as well, so long as you disconnect from the device first.When paired together they have shared controls which means you don't have to adjust them separately, which is a huge plus! Even if you turn one off, the other turns off to.Overall I am very pleased with this speaker! The split ability is awesome and the sound quality and volume are both impressive! I'm giving it 4 stars mainly due to the description being wrong and some of the other negatives mentioned above, but I'd still recommend it if looking for a real stereo sound.

My partner and I love to listen to podcasts together, sometimes he'll be downstairs in the living room and I'll be upstairs in my powder room which in the past meant cranking one speaker as loud as possible and putting it somewhere in between us in the stairwell. Not the best solution. I have been looking for a speaker set like this that doesn't cost hundreds, this is so perfect for what we need I couldn't be happier with it.It's bigger and heftier than I thought it would be for the price, each side is about the size of the Anker one I had been using. It twists apart easily, you don't have to press any buttons or anything to make it play separated. It also comes with a carabiner hook and novel charging cord that is one USB with two Micro USB chargers on the ends to charge both sides at once.You do have to turn both sides on as far as I can tell, but only one side has to be turned off to turn off both. I haven't experimented with playing two different things as two separate speakers because, frankly, I have a ton of Bluetooth speakers and I don't want to mess with it.The Bluetooth connectivity is great on my phone and always picks it up automatically when I turn it on. If you disconnect Bluetooth they will turn off on their own after 10 minutes. As far as the range of the two sides when separated, it's not huge, the instructions said 10 meters between and that's about right, but I have a small house so I can still take one half upstairs and one downstairs. If they get too far apart they will cut in and out.As much as I enjoy this for the reason I got it, the stereo effect for music has become my favorite thing about them. I like listen to music when I'm cooking, it's so nice to set the two halves on opposite sides of the kitchen, it sounds fantastic and immersive.The battery life is pretty good, 10-12 hours is what I've been getting but I usually have it turned up pretty loud. Definitely lasts longer than my JBL Go. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the flashing LEDs on the ends, but that is a minor annoyance.I'm not a techie or audiophile, so I might be missing some of the details of this product, but I am thrilled with this speaker. It solved one of my daily annoyances and exceeded my expectations for sound quality.
