151 Metallic Silver Paint 180ML

Let it dry and harden for 48 hours and it’s very durable (tested it on a steel bench) I’d buy again.

Bought to paint a rusty chrome mirror. Took ages to get the lid off as the lip just lifted without releasing the lid. Finally got it open, the paint had a very strong scent and was very thin and runny. Getting the lid back on was another problem, after trying to press down for a while the lid finally pushed in.....ALL THE WAY IN with the paint flying out- all over my face, hair, clothing(through to the skin) all over my worktop, units floor etc so quite a disaster uncortunately.

This paint arrived before expected time which was good, however I did have a real job opening the tin as you will see from attached photo as the lid was so flimsy.The paint seemed thin, but to be fair I had been using chalk paint just prior to using this silver paint.I wanted to use the paint to cover a gold colour light fitment rather than go to the trouble and expense of changing the light.At the moment it is still wet after painting it yesterday, but looks okay, I hope it keeps the shine it has at the moment.I must add as most people have mentioned it really does smell strong, I would have liked to use it on other things in the house, but knew it would be too strong to use unless you could leave windows wide open....maybe try again in warmer weather.

I am really happy with my purchase. I used it to paint some lions outside on our wall. They have been transformed and the colour is perfect.It has only been on a week so I can not comment on durability but I will update if I have any issues with flaking ect.

This paint was perfect for covering the metal surround on my fire place, painted over the brassy gold colour perfectly with 2 coats. The paint itself is very runny and dripped quite a bit but wiped off easily (do it straight away!) The paint fumes were strong but read the other reviews so expected it, smell was gone by the next morning. Good value and good packaging. Thanks

Although I was happy with this it takes 3 days to dry so if you in a hurry I would not recommend also the smell is very toxic and would advice wearing a mask or better still use in a well ventilated area or outside

Used the silver paint to brush highlight the raised decorative rope twist parts of the cast iron fire place renovation.Worked perfectly. Just need another 1000 or do fireplaces to use it on as I barely used what was on the back of the lid.Joking aside it is a great product that did exactly what I bought it for.

I painted some gold trim on a metal table and it did a good job, but has a really strong smell that lingers for several days. I would buy it again though.
