Q: Does this work for taller drivers? I dont want to increase my height in the seat very much, just even out the angle

The foam in this product is very soft and does compress to less that 3 inches. In my car, 2019 FIAT 124, this cushion did raise my seating position slightly. Since my car sits very low the additional height turned out to be an unexpected advantage. I do recommend using a cushion like this for added comfort. I have been very pleased with mine. Q: Does it block sciatica pain while driving?

Depending on your origin of sciatic pain (sitting posture, piriformis, lumbar impingement) it may help, it may not.

Q: How much does it compress? I want a level seating surface. This one has a good wedge height but it appears to compress a lot at the rear.

I had to add a piece of flat wood inside the zipper opening so my cushion doesn't compress anymore. I like the cushion because it's smaller in length than all the others.

Q: What are the clips attached to the back of the cushion for?

It fasten the cushion to the seat so that it does not slide
