A rotating pencil that is stylish
Love these mechanical pencils. I now have 3 of these, a silver one, a blue one and a black one and they are great. the mechanism inside the pencil rotates every time you press down and this means the lead rotates all the time preventing bluntness and the breaking of leads.

Brilliant.
Much better than I expected it to be. The lead turning mechanism really works well, nice to hold and a beautiful electric blue colour. Works well with pentel AIN 2B leads. Not gimmicky, but really practical.

Classy pencil!
Great pencils, the best! I prefer this one to the roulette feel-wise, but the roulette looks cooler! I also have a couple of the basic model and they're great too, but the high-grade and roulette are just that bit more classy!

Handles very nicely. A bit lighter than my previous pencil (which ...
Took longer than most orders to arrive (from Japan - of course it did!) but the wait was worth it. Handles very nicely. A bit lighter than my previous pencil (which had more metal at the business end) but I quickly became accustomed to it. Oh, and the wee origami crane slipped into the parcel was an amusing little surprise!

Very Classy Looking...
This pencil has a very premium look and feel and the rotating lead action is pure genius. I would highly recommend it!

I love how it has a rotating barrel. It makes sketching/writing really enjoyable. With other mechanical pencils you have to at times spin the whole pencil in your hand, but with this pencil it never dulls lead on one side it is even all over.

First things first, 0.3mm lead is awesome! I love the fine point soo much! I can write so tiny! But the main feature, the lead rotation mechanism, is just MWAH. so good. I love how sharp it makes my letters look, even with the 0.3mm lead it is even better! The only complaint is the typical tiny almost microscopic eraser. I mean, really, it's 2020 why can't we get better erasing solutions? But beside that, it's pretty comfortable, I enjoy writing with it. I like the knurled grips better but those only come in 0.5mm that I've found. Even so, it's sleek and nice looking and comfy. Those discreet rubber rings really make a difference, give you fingers something to grip on. very nice!

I've been looking for a decent 0.3mm pencil for some time now. I like the extremely fine line they produce, great for detail drawing and extremely small print. Unfortunately I hold the pen in an exaggerated slant as I use it and as the lead is used, the line tends to thicken. Adjusting the pencil occasionally has me stabbing the medium, sometimes ruining the whole document. Imagine my surprise when I saw that a company has attempted to rectify this issue. Rotating pencil lead, what a concept! Trigger was pulled late last year, and I received this little machine just before X-Mas 2017. Well, constructed, quality parts went into this. While I wish it came in other colors, the blue has grown on me. But if a red one ever comes along, look out! The rotation indicator tells me that the lead is spinning but only if I remove the pencil off the medium. Yes, there is some play at the writing point, but obviously it's needed to make the rotation work. I can't say I've noticed much less damage to the paper, but it does appear that the even-ness of the writing has improved slightly. It's probably too much to ask for the inclusion of an automatic lead advance feature, because at 0.3mm in the HB hardness the wear is ridiculous. I took the liberty of purchasing the company's refills, and yes, they do seem to be a bit harder to break than standard leads, but after about 5 words I'm having to pause to advance the lead. I'll try H or 2H refills in the future, see if that helps. UPDATE: H refills are a great replacement for the fast-wearing HB leads; they write almost as darkly and they don't break as often. Recently I dropped the pencil and the tip bent badly enough that it doesn't write as well anymore (and somehow the blue accent at the bottom of the pencil disappeared...). More incentive to invent a sliding tip for this model, but I've gotten so enamored with the newfound ability to write huge amounts of data on a 1.5 X 2" post-it note that I ordered 3 more of the model. Still wish it came in red... Otherwise, great purchase, again.
