To keep a sharp edge this works well. you need have the skate sharpened to correct grind first, this extends life and keeps edges clean between sharpening

haven't really used it but when i do it feels like i'm doing more damage than good

Good Idea, poorly executed! Frustrating and dissapointed :(
Difficult to use, doesn't create a 'perfect' edge no matter how light or heavy you press (contrary to instructions stating "warning you can cut your fingers its that sharp" kind of thing...)Flimsy/poorly manufactured... but i suppose it is better than no edge at all, nothing close to a proper grind.Simple idea, would be better if it was set for a certain blade width so it doesn't flex. The metal is poorly bent and inaccurate angles, It would be better if it was milled/cnc'd. The deform-able tube is not held in the center by anything and so is difficult to make sure it gets both edges (sharpens one side, blunts the other) - It does keep true to the ROH though as intended.De-buring strips are in an awkward position/place and its difficult to get flat to the runner/blade. The recommendation of using a black marker to see the results works but also clogs the abrasive with marker pen residue.I would not use this product unless you have no other choice and have not sharpened your skates in years.It is simply frustrating to use, i have spent the better part of the day trying... ill try again but im not expecting anything miraculous...I just hope i can still skate on those edges, i thought they were not sharp but they were sharper than this is able to achieve and thus are now blunter than they were before I used this tool. :(

good think really work
good think really work. before start using it, the skates need to be sharpened after can use this think. last time made 2.30 hour skating no problem.

Intermediate skate sharpener, small enough to fit in your pocket.
Seems to do what it is designed for, though you need to have your skates ground properly to begin with. Small device which is easy to keep in your pocket. Don't know how long it will last as tightening the device too much on your blades can cause damage to the sandpaper.
