Your search for great china storage containers is over!
I had been looking for years for solid, well-constructed containers to store, and make easily accessible, my grandmother's porcelain dinner service ... to no avail. Other products either were cheaply constructed, of dubious protection for fine china, or made me wonder if they'd stand up to the test of time. Thankfully, the long search now is over! The various Homelux Theory containers I have purchased (quite a number) are outstanding.First, they are indeed stackable. While I won't be piling-up the heaviest containers of plates one on top of another for years on end, the Homelux Theory shells nonetheless are very firm, and lighter boxes for teacups and such easily could be stacked for years on end without warping, I'm certain. The exterior fabric is durable, visually quiet, and really looks polished and professional. For a beautiful dinner service like my grandmother's, they look more like custom-made presentation cases, rather than merely utilitarian china storage.I've included a picture of what is, actually, the Homelux Theory cutlery box—I'm using it for oval open vegetable serving dishes—dishes which are hard to store safely. The cutlery box adapts beautifully and easily to storing oddly-shaped serving pieces like this, and I'll be purchasing many more for the smaller serving bowls and such which come with a large dinner service like my grandmother's. So the various Homelux Theory products really are versatile. If I had a few "Homelux Theory wishes," they would be:1) For Homelux Theory to make a platter box which can take truly huge platters and chop-plates; I have one of each (a platter and a round chop-plate) which won't fit in the standard Homelux Theory platter box. That said, the medium and smaller platters and serving plates I have fit in the padded Homelux Theory platter-boxes beautiful and securely.2) It would be great if one could purchase individual items (such as just a dinner plate container, or a luncheon plate container). That would be convenient.3) It also would be nice for Homelux Theory to expand their line to include containers for larger and/or oddly shaped pieces, such as covered vegetable dishes. I found a different product (not as well constructed as Homelux Theory, mind you) which I'm using for the time being for two taller, covered-and-footed vegetable dishes. But I'd prefer a higher-grade Homelux Theory container if ever it were offered. All three wishes are for more Homelux Theory, not less!I'm very pleased with the quality and versatility of the Homelux Theory containers, and am looking forward to boxing-up other porcelain with Homelux Theory. If you're looking for a great container, that provides easy access, and which securely and attractively will store your fine china for the "long haul," Homelux Theory is your answer!

I give this 5 stars because
Before I go there, I think you need to know that I have purchased both these brand and the ones that have cushioned lids (unnecessary; just looks good, it is not added protections because it's not thick enough to be.) There's a huge diff between the two that you won't notice just by pics.#1 these are sewn together well - esp the bottoms. The bottoms of the cushioned ones are not sewn in. That means the fabric - not the hard shell - is holding the weight of the dishes inside them! When I pick a cushioned one up, the 'hard' piece in the bottom moves on the cushioned ones (all of them) which means it is not attached to the sides! These don't do that. That is #1 because it's huge. Fabric gets old and loses it's strength over time. Just a year or two and they can be weakened enough not to hold anything heavy. It worries me that what is holding the weight of the dishes is the seams in the fabric and not the hard casing. Eventually, I'll have to replace the cushioned ones which, though they're initially less expensive and 'look good', it makes them much more expensive than these.#2 these have handles. The cushioned ones do not. You might not think that's a big deal, I didn't at first, but it is. When picking up the cushioned ones, I have to squeeze the sides or lift from the bottom (which moves the contents and that worries me). These have handles sewn all the way through the fabric and the sturdy stuff. It's also more cumbersome and fiddly to move. If you don't have just the right grip, they could easily be dropped; bye bye dishes.#3 the inserts for the cushioned ones are thin. I've stacked up the inserts for these and the ones that came with the cushioned ones and the ones that came with these are almost twice as thick (much better protection) than the ones that came with the cushioned ones. What I don't like about this set: That stupid silverware/flatware holder. Sheesh. The lid does not attach. what's up with that? I wouldn't even put plastic ware in it unless I wanted them to spill everywhere the moment the lid happened to come up. Did they have an intern design it or what? I used it, instead, for table runners. There's nothing else it's even remotely good for. If it weren't for how well the others are made, I would've taken off a star.I will buy these again. I will not buy any more of the cushioned ones. I may even return the cushioned ones because they worry me.

GREAT PRODUCT!!
This exceeded expectations. We have china we got for our wedding in 1996 and have used it about 5 times. I wanted to pack it up to make sure it would be safe and put it in storage. These containers are amazing!

Absolutely perfect for my Halloween plates
I had purchased these so that I didn’t have to just put my Halloween dishes back in the cupboard. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of them. I put my dishes away right away, and plan on buying more for my platters and silverware.

Great quality
I purchased these to store away my holiday china and these are the best china storage items I have found. They are very sturdy, thick and durable. I Strongly recommend them.

Heirloom China Storage
The Homelux Theory 2pc, 10 inch storage boxes are a great solution for storing heirloom china. Prior to receiving these boxes, I was using a cardboard box to store our china which made it very impractical to actually use the dinnerware. These storage boxes have a nice foam padding on the inside and included thick felt discs that can be used to place in between each plate. I feel really confident that my plates are protected while stored away and that nothing will be damaged when we move the boxes down from the cabinet. I also liked that these boxes have a clear window in the front, allowing you to see what is inside. If you have multiple sets, this will easily allow you to determine what exactly is inside. Additionally, you could label the box. I do wish there was a zipper to fasten the lid to the box. Since we plan to store these high in a cabinet, I am not worried about kids or anyone accidentally getting into the storage. If you plan to use these to move, I may recommend taping the lid. Other than that, these are really great quality dinnerware storage boxes for an ideal price!
