The paper clamp on top will not hold paper if carried by handle.I don't know if it was supposed to or not.maybe a way to hold paper on top of clipboard and carry it by handle..would be nice. Other than that.it works well.i of course don't lock it.if I have something valuable inside.. someone can just easily take clipboard. Plenty of space inside for useable forms and paperwork.

this was a huge hit for the nephew who wanted a spy kit for Christmas! The one I purchased didn't have a case, so I ordered this case. Wow! It is perfect--nice quality, and the perfect size.

Great little case. I have 2 of them. One is for airbrushes. This one is for tattoo machines and tools. Airbrushed a couple of skulls and some fire to give this case some style. iPad fits in there with the rest of it just fine. Some extra padding around the edge for shock resistance would be nice, but that's really not what this case is intended for.

Great durability. Latch and lock work great. Could be a little thicker for more storage capacity but does what I need. Light weight. Completely satisfied overall.

First of all, the size is great for my needs. And it looks nice out of the box. However, if you need something "rugged" or "built to last" this is not your huckleberry. You might get a year of light daily use, but don't ever drop it. I feel like the sides are probably made of compressed cardboard, or at best, super light particle board of some sort. I also have no idea what this lock is supposed to do, because there is no mechanism to actually lock the box. The key hole just spins and the top doesn't really have anything to catch in a lock. In short, the lock is 100% useless. However, the latch does keep everything closed okay. It's basically just a clipboard with an extra compartment for a writing pad. This is not a secure money box or safety shell for anything. For the price, don't expect to be dazzled. Keep your expectations low and you'll be fine. Keep a receipt pad in there for orders and you have a surface to write on, perhaps you have some bills to pay and want to keep them in the same place for the month, maybe you like to sketch and just need something little to carry some drawing basics and something hard to draw on, or you need to take a few papers or photos from point A to B without them getting bent or spilled on. This works perfect for those kind of things.

This was a gift for a new job. The key and lock just kept turning and would not lock and the briefcase itself is loose on the sides so the first time I used it on my way to work it all flopped open and everything inside of it fell out. It will not close completely.
