This Rotisserie Motor is works great making sure that the spit being used fits and holds well. The adjustable speed keeps a nice even cook all around.

The old one I've used for almost 20 years finally quit so I bought this one. Same thing but with the wired charger. Old one was just "D" batts but was great. Turned at perfect speed for spit roasting over fire. New one wouldn't turn at all at first with 2 sets of new Energizers. After letting it run a half hour on charger I switched to batts & it barely turned. Way too slow to be effective. Tried messaging the company as offered by Amazon but no response after a week. Could return it but am going to use it for TG turkey & hope. Will have to safeguard the wire from heat though.
